Designed for a narrow yet deep plot, this two-story contemporary residence seamlessly blends fair-faced concrete with exposed brick to create a highly functional, climate-responsive family home. The layout is intelligently zoned, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a fluid drawing-dining area on the ground floor, while the upper floor privately holds three additional bedrooms. Embracing its elongated footprint, the design features dedicated open spaces at both the front and back, with the rear backyard directly extending from the dining room and vertically connecting to a first-floor terrace. To shield the interior from harsh sunlight while maintaining natural ventilation, a striking brick extruded patterned wall wraps the facade, creating a rich texture of dynamic shadow plays and proving that tight urban spaces can still breathe, connect deeply with nature, and look effortlessly bold.

For this linear plot, the story is centered on the view and the breeze.
Leveraging the openness of the wide road and the canal, we designed a 7-story "breathing" facade that maximizes its unique frontage. From the tactile red-brick textures to the efficiency of the two-unit layout, every line was drawn to enhance the resident’s experience of light and air.

A simple, well-planned two-story home designed for comfortable everyday living, closely connected to nature. The ground floor includes a bedroom, drawing–dining space, prayer area with ozu khana, and a motorcycle garage with a ramp for daily convenience.
The upper floor works as a flexible unit that can be used as a guest room or rented out, with a bedroom, dining-cum-living space, a small gym, and an open terrace. The rear of the house opens to a quiet canal, allowing natural light, fresh air, and a calm view to flow into the interior.
