Today was one of those days that reminds us just how lucky we are to be part of a community that opens its doors and creates opportunities for young people to learn, connect, and grow.

We were incredibly blessed to be welcomed to Konomie Island and experience culture and community with its finest. For our young people, days like today are about listening, learning, feeling connected, and being given the opportunity to experience something truly meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to Capricorn Conservation Council for welcoming our crew and making this experience possible. We are so thankful of your ongoing commitment to creating meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities that connect young people with Country, conservation and community.

Thank you to Woppaburra elder Nerark for sharing your wisdom and stories with us, and for providing opportunities that help our young people connect with culture and community.

Thank you to Konomie Education Centre for opening your space and your hearts to our young people.
