World Toilet Day 2024, on 19 November, is on the theme of 'Toilets - A Place for Peace'. World Toilet Day is an annual United Nations Observance promoted through a worldwide public campaign that encourages action to tackle the global sanitation crisis.

This year's campaign, underscores how broken or inadequate sanitation systems affect people's lives and emphasizes the importance of sustainable sanitation for a healthy and stable society.

According to WHO/UNICEF data, 3.5 billion people lack safely managed sanitation services, nearly half of the global population. Among them, 419 million still practice open defecation, a practice that threatens health and human dignity and contributes to the contamination of water sources and soil. The absence of safe toilets has severe public health consequences, facilitating the spread of deadly diseases such as cholera and typhoid fever, especially affecting the most vulnerable segments of society.

We have a full time opening for an experienced Plumber to join our close, supportive team.

Employment package $94,540 – $101,298 depending on experience and skill level. Plus regular overtime, Ute, fuel card and PPE.

Our office is based in Yangebup, but our clients are all over the Perth metropolitan area.

Our work covers Government contracts, Aged Care, hospitality, Real Estate Agents and domestic clients.

Jobs
We have a diverse range of clients to put variety into your day. The bulk of our work is commercial maintenance. We also do:
• Project works
• Works for local councils
• Maintenance works for Fremantle Ports
• Large diameter pipework
• Backflow servicing
• Replacing roof sheeting and gutters on commercial buildings
• Installation and maintenance of public drinking fountains and outdoor beach showers
• ATU installation and servicing
• Share your knowledge and skills with Apprentices
• Everything is accessed and uploaded via the Field Magic app

Required
• Tradesperson’s Licence – Plumber
• Gas Licence looked at favourably
• White Card
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Working at Heights and EWP viewed favourably
• Have all relevant tools for the trade
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and complete a physical agility test
• Ability to pass a Police Clearance
• Because we work in Aged Care, you will need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and have yearly flu vaccinations.
