I received a response to my June 3 letter to the Premier yesterday and I have responded today. A little news from me - I have attended the Commonwealth Association of Public Accounts Committees (CAPAC) virtually as the conference was held in Trinidad and Tobago. That said it was not very favorable hours in this part of the world. It was great to present to the conference, and I had the privilege of being elected vice chair of CAPAC and I look forward to working with the rest of our executive. Thank you to the outgoing chair Hon Juan Watterson MP.

I also note the recent media coverage of this matter recently on The Mercury Newspaper and The Advocate newspaper that have accurately reported on this matter.
I have requested a response as outlined in the letter. As yet, I have received no acknowledgment or response.

Our parliament has come a long way. These are photos from the first day of Budget Estimate hearings in the Legislative Council. I believe this is the first or female committee in the history of the Parliament. A long and productive day will be back tomorrow to scrutinize energy in the morning.
