Thank you Katlin for such a wonderful weekend at your Ladies Day Camp. I had such a ball. You were so welcoming, the food was amazing as were the cocktails. A big thank you as well to Reece for barbecuing for us all. It was wonderful to be part of such a friendly supportive bunch of ladies, everyone was so encouraging. I only just met most of them on Saturday for the first time, but we all had so much fun together. Had fun camping with Natalie Mitchell in the float too 😁😁. Best weekend in ages.

Timber Treaters Bridgetown Henty Dressage Championships was a super weekend for my girls Sunday Morning KDH & KDH Philino's Gift.
SM gave me everything and more on Saturday and we just had the best time together especially riding our freestyle, thanks for the music mum!
Maple also tried really hard in the atmosphere, but arena's are not meant to have flowers that move. She still put together some great work for a 2nd and 3rd in the Prep.

Sharing some of our daily training session and just to prove that majority of my work is now 80% transitions. Transitions in and out of the paces and within the paces has been the proven option to help SM achieve confidence and strength in her collection work.
It's never perfect or perfect enough but I now always reward her try over everything and anything else.
If it seems complicated and hard, it probably is. Go back to basics and keep it simple, at the end of the day I know what option our horses would really rather be taking and that's the paddock one, grazing grass with buddies.

I am really enjoying being able to offer training opportunities again for clients. It can be as simple as a tune up to the aids or imprinting the foundations for new movements.
Your investment in my training is individually based around each horse, as no horse is the same.

Some competitions aren't always about the final score or the placing but about the whole day and all the improvements little and big. Thank you SM for showing me the way that works for you, not what others expect. Together, we are really enjoying our work and gaining so much confidence in our partnership and I am loving being in the arena with her now, more than ever!

It's been a great week competing with my girls! A little something different for Sunday Morning KDH and I with Show Horse at the Autumn Pageant last weekend for Champion Large Hack.
Yesterday KDH Philino's Gift was rewarded Champion Prep for her first Dressage outing at the Hygain Pony Showcase.

Yay what a day and how good it felt!! Video doesn't do justice to how good the feeling was yesterday with SM, dancing in the Advanced and PSG for a 1st and 2nd placing. Only way is up from here 😍

Work includes mucking out stables, filling hay bags, paddock checks, cleaning, garden maintenance, general stable duties and horse handling.
This worker needs to be reliable, honest, confident around horses and most of all has a motivated, friendly attitude.
Quiet dressage/breeding stable located in Waroona.

A great day yesterday at Serpentine Tee-shirt day thanks so much to the club, sponsors and judges. Nothing like trusting the "old boy" for a quick pull out of the paddock and spruce up. Once the nerves calmed Emelia rode so beautifully for Res Champ Rider and Champion First Ridden.
Was great to see some clients do so well yesterday along with some friendly faces, so awesome to see the improvements and accomplishments in the young riders.
