[02/11/16] As you are all aware Waroona, Yarloop and Harvey have been fighting fires for the last month. Our shop has suffered from these fires for a second year in a row. Our shop and stock have been covered in ash so we are in a transition period while we work with our insurance. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, we hope to be back up and running online very soon. Danielle xx
[01/08/16] Thought I would give an update as to where we are with the fires. We had another hairy night last night with very little sleep had over the last few days. Surrounded but huge plumes of smoke and lightening starting new fires we just can't seem to catch a break. So many friends dealing so many unknowns. So many houses taken. Our Firies are working their absolute butts off but this fire is in control. My Partner is a volly and has been out since 6pm last night and it's not 10.30am. No sleep yesterday with an over 40 degree day and no power for air con or fridges. We have managed to get a generator through the road blocks so we can charge phones and the fridge. I stayed behind to fight embers as the fire was heading down the hill towards us. The wind was like being stuck in a tornado. Then I learned a dear friend of mine looks to have lost her house. That call to her to give her a heads up on what the firies had seen and with all my fingers and toes crossed hoping I am wrong and her house is still standing. Yarloop is not what is was and my heart aches for the families and close friends that have lost so much. It's a mixed feeling of relief that they are safe and an aching heart that there is so many irreplaceable items in their homes. Today we hope for a bit of relief. This devastating fire in our small towns bring people together, these people are more like family than friends. We look out for one another, we know our neighbours, we stand united. Danielle xx

Merino Dreaming is a name that came to be when I touched ultra-fine merino wool. I said "It's a dream! Most of my felt pieces are garments felted using a background of silk fabric and ultrafine merino on the surface, so they are NUNO FELT.
