"Our hope
is not in
the new year,
but in
The One
who makes
all things new."
Our hope doesnโt rest in the arrival of a new year, marked by fleeting resolutions and the passing of time. Instead, it is anchored in The One who has the power to renew and restore all things.
The turning of a calendar page holds no promise of transformation, but the Creator doesโa hope that transcends circumstances, seasons, and years.
In Him, we find the grace to let go of the past, the strength to face the present, and the courage to embrace the future.
True renewal comes not from the passing of days but from the steadfast love and unchanging faithfulness of the One who makes all things new. โคโ

God bless you as you share and care your fellow man today. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ

NEW YEAR DAILY BREAD READING
Follow the Path
By Dan Gregory of Minneapolis, Minnesota USA
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion. Declare his deeds among the peoples.
Psalm 9:11
Our God and Walker of the Way,
How we long to follow in your path. We want to be known among our friends and in our communities as the people of peace. We want to reflect the light that comes into our lives wherever we find ourselves looking into your face.
Your Spirit quickens within usโlet us hear!
Your peace brings comfortโlet us breathe!
Your vision draws us beyond the horizonโlet us walk!
Lift our eyes to the vision of what must be, not just what might be. Remind us we do not walk the way alone but are strengthened as we draw close to you and one another. When we falter, forgive us. When our hearts harden, break them open. When we encounter weary spirits, may we extend the invitation to come and see the One who revives us and brings us peace. For we yearn to walk in the way that leads to the dream of shalom.
Comfort our fears.
Strengthen our resolve.
Surprise us along the way.
Open us to new understandings and dimensions of your grace.
Soften our hearts that we might see you and walk with you and live peacefully and passionately, following in the footsteps of the Living Christ.
We pray for peace in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
Prayer Phrase
โโฆour inner nature is being renewed day by dayโ (2 Corinthians 4:16).
Spiritual Practice
Renewal for The Journey
Gather a small bowl of water. Begin by lighting a candle. Spend 5โ10 minutes in silence. Focus on your breath, feeling the warmth of the candlelight. Think about the blessings in your life and the people you cherish. Allow yourself to feel the emotions associated with each blessing and person. Dip your fingers in the bowl of water and sprinkle a few drops around the candle. Visualize releasing any negativity or burdens from the past year, welcoming a sense of renewal and clarity for the year ahead. Reflect on how you can carry this spirit into the new year.

โPeace within us. Peace over us. Let all around us be Peaceโ๐ถ๐ถ

Amen.
โจ As we step into this new year, letโs join our hearts in prayers for peaceโwithin ourselves, our communities, and the world. ๐

When the song of the angels is stilled,
when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home,
when the shepherds are back with their flock,
the work of Christmas begins:
to feed the hungry, to release the prisoner,
to rebuild nations, to bring peace among all,
To make music in the heart.
"Now the Work of Christmas Begins" is a poem and litany by Howard Thurman which invites us to create meaning in the blessings and gifts of Christmas throughout the year.

Let His glory and peace fill your Christmas week!โค๏ธ

So much to be grateful for. Thank you God.
Praying Pause
Everything comes from God; everything happens through God; everything ends up in God. Always glory! Always praise! โRomans 11:36
~ Breathe in the beautiful God-given gift of life, given to you freely... breathe deeply...
~ With the awareness that everything happens through God and ends up in God, let go of any negative thought with your breath outโฆ
~ Breathe and let go... this moment is all you have, find peace this moment...
~ Breathe another slow and deliberate breath, knowing that all comes from Godโฆ what are you grateful for this moment?โฆ Enjoy the peace that gratitude bringsโฆ
Prayer is sitting in the silence until it silences us, choosing gratitude until we are grateful, and praising God until we ourselves are an act of praise.
โRichard Rohr

Rejoice! rejoice! And again I say Rejoice!!!
I celebrate Christmas because, as the angel said, the birth of Jesus Christ is โgood newsโ and good news is meant to be celebrated and shared.
In fact, the angel said the news of Jesusโ birth would cause โgreat joyโ and would be โfor all the peopleโโthe joyful celebration would be universal.
