Capitalise on new technology skills learned and save thousands.
A peak body for older Australians, COTA, has confirmed through its survey what the media have been broadly stating for some time now, and that is, over 20% of older Australians are now using new technology for the first time and approximately 30% have increased their social media to stay connected.
What this offers is a huge opportunity for those who are more comfortable using the internet because it opens the door to the mammoth value being offered through the low cost of goods and services of online suppliers. It also frees up peoples time through being able to conduct mundane tasks quickly from the home computer, tablet or smart phone. Go to my blog to read more

With the feeling of health vulnerability being experienced amongst seniors, this has had a significant impact on their adult children as well as they strive to ensure their parents are looked after should a health “trigger” event occur.
This article, written in response to the issue, was published by the West Australian Your Money section 27 April. Please feel to share this to people who may benefit from the guidance.

Important to create a new regular routine to maintain strength and flexibility when cooped up at home.
Chatting to residents at our local retirement village has highlighted this as a key issue. Maintaining muscle mass is so important for those over 55 and more crucial as you age.
Follow the link to the blog and video in maintaining muscle mass and flexibility when the routine has gone out the window.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best.
What might seem a little distasteful to think about but nevertheless important is:
If I or one of my parents become incapacitated, who might be able to make decisions and carry on on my/their behalf?
Up to date Enduring powers of attorney, Enduring powers of guardianship, Wills and Advanced health directives are all essential but often ignored planning tools.
Who knows your passwords and logins? Who can I trust?
It is in times like these that action should be taken, with due care and thought.
This is just one of the many matters that impact planning through life.
Primetime offers a free online evaluation which can be accessed through the website link below. This is comprehensive with a personal report and action plan and covers all angles.
Share this with those you love and care about, plan for all contingencies and enjoy peace of mind.

Financial worries, social isolation, anxiety about health issues are all coming to the fore.
Where advisors have relied on face to face contact as a way of dealing with their clients issues, social distancing has prevented the ability to deliver key planning services.
When everyone is scrambling to formulate or build a solution, timing is of the essence.
The primetime planning solution is a bolt on market ready solution for advisors and service providers including the government.
It is especially suited to a category at higher risk, those over 60 years old.
