The Crew Rockingham

📣Just a quick update for our community regarding our Sunday Mobile Meal stops! 📣

Our final stop at Petro Fuel Station will be today the 31st of May at approx 6.30. From the 1st of June, The CREW Rockingham will operate from 5 stops instead of 6.
This change will allow us a little more time at each location to better support the growing number of people accessing our service each week.
We kindly ask everyone to please continue sticking closely to the times listed on your cards, but also allow a 15–20 minute window past that time as our stops have been extremely busy and it can be difficult to predict numbers and delays at each location.
We will also now aim to arrive at Memorial Drive approximately 10 minutes earlier each Sunday, beginning there at 4:40pm from the 1st of June.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding and ongoing support as we continue adapting to meet the needs of our community.

A special shout out for the mountain of baked beans and spaghetti that will be going straight into our Thursday breakfasts for our guests 🍝

We were so honoured to be nominated by the branch team to receive a $500 local community donation in recognition of the work being done in our community. Support like this genuinely helps us continue providing practical assistance to people doing it tough across our region.

We also want to give a special shout out to the entire CommBank Rockingham team who faithfully volunteer with us each month, helping pack hampers for our guests. They always show up with such kindness, energy and heart, and they do an amazing job every single time.

Thank you for not only investing financially into our community, but also giving your time so generously. We truly appreciate your ongoing support and partnership.

Paper Bag Stockpile Full!

A huge thank you to everyone in the community who has been dropping off paper bags to The CREW. We truly appreciate the support!

Thanks to your generosity, we now have an excellent supply of paper bags for hamper distribution, so we kindly ask that donations of paper bags be paused for the time being while we work through our current stockpile.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in the Rockingham Golf Club Charity Day for an incredible event that raised $1760 for The CREW Rockingham ⛳️❤️

We had SO much fun being part of the day and were blown away by the generosity, community spirit and support shown throughout the event.

A special thank you to organiser Julie Twight, who did a fantastic job bringing everything together and creating such a wonderful day for everyone involved.

Pictured is CREW's Kendall alongside Julie and the overall winners of the day, who incredibly chose to donate their winnings back to The CREW. Those funds were then passed on to two deserving local families doing it tough here in the Rockingham area.

Moments like this remind us just how powerful community can be when people come together to make a difference. Thank you all for your support, generosity and heart for our community.

A huge thank you to the students and staff at Catholic College for putting together over 120 incredible care packages for The CREW Rockingham ❤️
Each pack included non-perishable food items, toiletries, and beautiful handwritten notes that brought so much encouragement and kindness to the people receiving them.
These care packs went straight out to our guests through our emergency relief hampers and made such a practical and personal difference to families and individuals doing it tough.
Thank you to every student who poured love, compassion and thoughtfulness into each package. Your kindness matters more than you know.

❤ This Volunteer Week, we just want to pause and say thank you to the incredible people who make The CREW Rockingham what it is ❤

Over the past week we’ve had so many thoughtful gestures of appreciation shown toward our volunteers, and on Tuesday we were able to celebrate them with a beautiful morning tea at Paradox Church.
The atmosphere, the scenery, the food, the conversations… it was all so special.
A chance to slow down and honour the people who quietly and faithfully give so much of themselves to our community week after week.
To our volunteers, thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the emotional load, the practical help, the compassion, the laughter, and the consistency. You are the heartbeat of this organisation and we truly could not do this without you.
And to Church, (especially Kylie Holt) thank you for creating such a beautiful space for us to celebrate some of the most beautiful people we know ☀️

We know for many people doing it tough, pets are family. Donations like this help us support not just people, but their furry companions too. Your kindness will make such a difference in our community ❤️
