Very pleased to do the finishing touches on Ryan Shans racing weapon. A very nice paint job by Hary Boat Man Bakkr from Razorcradt Boats Official.

A few nice decals and a bit of DECKD to ensure a safe walk up the bow . Our tri colour is a nice colour way to compliment the orange. It’s our 10mm grey over orange over black.

What a surprise package this Seacruiser is!!!
They call it 4800 Bulldog. And it’s makes sense because of the high sides and wide beam.

This was a definite next level boat.
Three seperate colours were used to give this little rig a tough but comfortable vessel.

Oh yes…. Getting it done!

Some have been interested in our trademarked name.

Why did you call it DECKD?

Well , one of the reasons was to explain what we do : Marine Decking. Traditionally the yachts of the past and today are lined with solid teak decking. As technology in flooring changed , some custom synthetic decking came into the market.

Our product is a custom CNC cut EVA flooring.
We provide a full designer service to provide a original flooring for every customer.
Aptly named DECKD to suggest synthetic decking, which is what we do.

DECKD is really a slang or short version of Decked.
But another reason is what you think of when say DECKD . You can’t help think of the term , “Decked Out.” Or totally Decked. Which implies improvement or dressing something up.

You hear of quite a few fishermen who do a full rebuild on their boat . They will load up their boats with expensive goodies and describe it as being “Decked Out”. A typical saying in the marine industry.

So a two fold meaning is implied.

Also it commonly known that the fishing area is called a deck. You see many a fisherman talking about how many fish hit the “deck”.

Which ever floats your boat.
All we can say is, we wanted to capture a name that is short , memorable and clearly indicates what we do and the passion for our work.

That’s why we chose the name and registered it as a trademark, because we want it to be an indelible brand of the marine industry that’s here to stay.

I can not tell you how much we appreciate the overwhelming support that we received this year.
It’s really humbling to know that our passion in our work doesn’t go unnoticed.

With the launch of DECKD and the evolution of Quazi Marine, we really enjoyed the changes in our design, colours and services.

Some of our customers have been with us for 6.5 years, some we have just met.

Really privileged to work on some amazing boats .
Great friendships and business relationships have been forged. Some key people have been a incredible support and I can’t thank you enough.

It was great to catch my good mate Micheal.

We did a bit a of a up grade to his sons tinny.
Aptly named , “Timmy’s Toy”.

Apparently this little weapon is a fishing workhorse.

Little bit fancy with the diamond stitched design and couple of fishing rulers to show off.

Looks good with all the gunnels done and the all important hot areas done , so one has a burnt rear end. 🤣.

It just show what can be done with a beaten up tinny. 🎣🐠

Well this was a creative challenge!

Nothing like a floor with a personal connection to the family history. We were given specifics in the design brief.

Had to have a seahorse, compass, fish rulers and a connection to the family history. They named the boat “Southern Knight”.

Jasper was kind enough to give us a bit of the rationale on his naming the boat and the background.

“Hey mate, thanks for the amazing work and fitting us in, very much appreciated.

‘Southern Knight’ in memory of my late mum and my Great uncle, ‘Captain Frank Knight, who became an apprentice with the merchant Navi at 15 years and was fully qualified with an Extra Master Mariners certificate at 24.

Retired from the navy and went onto write approximately 35 children story books based on the sea and ships and used as supplementary reading for learning history around the world

Thought it would be cool to have the seahorse as the ‘Southern Knight’ sea horse is found off the Victorian coast line .

What a cool job to finish on.
