Last day done and dusted. We are home after nearly 2000km. What a great weekend with amazing people, many laughs and all to raise money. Now to get ready for rally tally night on the 18th March. If anyone is looking to do something that weekend come to Hay. There will be auctions, raffles, fireworks, and our annual car drop.

Been a bit quiet the last couple of days but have had an absolute ball at Hermidale, Grawin (Club in the Scrub) and Collie Hotel. Definitely lots of laughs, eggs and flour and now a lagging suspension that is struggling on these dirt rocky roads. Shaun put me in the drivers seat and we ended up with a flat, but in my defence it was the nails fault!

Breakfast to lunch. We thought we were only a two man show until we picked up a ring-in who will most probably car swap along the way. A quick game of cricket, first challenge dusted off (all I got out of ours is that Shaun doesn’t listen to instructions!) Hermidale we are coming your way!

So we are off. Not sure if we can believe our fuel range to empty is something to believe. We left Hay with 640km til empty and we are nearly in Goolgowi and we have 670km til empty. 🤔

New bonnet sticker!

It is with deep regret we will be postponing the Hay Rust n Dust Outback Rally to early next year. Due to floods and the impact it is having on communities and people we thought it best for all involved to postpone.
Stay tuned for a new date.

As part of our fundraising and our theme we are selling cowboy boot stickers for $5. We will put whatever you want written on them and your name will go travelling with us as part of the rally! How cool is that?

As we are fast approaching the moment we get to leave we wanted to give a huge shoutout to our sponsors who have helped us reach our goal. Our new dates are:
Scrutineering: 1st Dec
Rally leaves Hay: 2nd Dec
Rally returns Hay: 5th Dec
Rally Tally night: 17th Dec

Because of this, if you would still like to join the rally please contact us asap.

Rust n Dust presentation Hay Rust n Dust raising much needed funds for Rural Health

All are welcome to our Rally AGM, all positions will become vacant and we are looking for people who want to bring new ideas and who want to help promote and make our rally the best. If you are unable to attend in person but would like to become a committee member please contact me on how to make this happen.

We are very excited to announce our 2022 Hay Rust n Dust Outback Rally is on the 28th-31st October with rally tally night the 12th November! Who is with me in agreement that this is the best news of 2022 so far?
We have no cap on the number of cars we are taking but get in quick for the Early Bird registration price of $500. There are only 30 early bird spots available! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: it has been decided to cancel the 2021 rally and start preparing for October 2022 where the Hay Rust n Dust Outback Rally will be back BIGGER, BETTER and STRONGER! watch this space in the new year for the date.

Update on our rally!

Huge thank you to Dave and Julie Bedford for their kind donation. We headed to the top of Australia and ran into friends from Tumut and walked away with another sticker for our car! We feel so privileged to have great friends and supporters to Car 4!

Come on down to the bakery and buy some raffle tickets. It will be drawn this afternoon

First roll out of cowboy stickers are here! Want one to put on our rally car? They are only $5 each and I will write your name or message on it! All of the money from these stickers will go towards our rally tally!
