Congratulations to all our recent graduates, we're so proud of you!

Every day in Australia, over 450 people die of a life-limiting illness. Every one of them could benefit from palliative care.

It's National Palliative Care week, and conversations about palliative care matter. To support the week, we're highlighting one of our alumni, Jon.

Having worked across aged care services, Jon wanted to better understand and support people living with dementia, end-stage chronic disease and multi-morbidity. Studying the Master of Palliative Care at UTS gave him the confidence to make quality improvements and walk alongside families through some of their hardest days.

We need more people like Jon! 🩺

Today we're celebrating our current and past nursing students. The nurses who study with us today stand on the foundation built by those who came before them. Our alumni have gone on to lead wards, save lives, and leave a lasting mark on the people they care for.

We're so proud of all our nurses. Thank you for your commitment, your empathy, and your resilience.

Andy grew up playing and watching basketball, so when a Sydney Kings internship was advertised through UTS, he went for it. He's now completing his Honours year in Sport and Exercise Science, focusing on performance data in elite basketball. Oh and yes, the Kings won the championship. 🏆
