We are super excited to be teaming up with Youth Connect for this one.
This 2-hour Art Camp is designed specifically for young people aged 14–18 years and offers the opportunity to experiment with a range of exciting art forms in a relaxed and supportive environment with artist Alex Stalling.
During the session, participants will be introduced to zine making, acrylic painting, keyring design, and collagraph printing through guided demonstrations. Students are welcome to try all activities or spend more time focusing on the mediums that interest them most.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

I built Tinker around a simple idea: be the teacher I needed as a child. Encourage creativity, celebrate individuality, and help young artists grow with confidence.
More than art skills, I want every child who walks into the studio to leave feeling capable, creative and confident.

Kids - Term 3 Weekly Art Group
Seats are already limited; don't miss your spot register early.
Term 3 Curriculum: Sculpture
Dive into the world of objects, spatial construction and problem-solving as we work across multiple projects to inspire their imagination.
Project 1: Public Art, explore the world of art shared with others. Students will learn about how to create site-specific concepts based on connection, narrative and materials. Working with experienced artists who have created multiple public art pieces, this project is designed to get them excited about community spaces, realistic projects as an artist and play with the possibilities of their imagination.
Project 2: Sculpting in the round.
Students are to pick a living thing for inspiration, deconstruct and reconstruct to create a model. Using a mixed media approach to construction each student will have a one of a kind 3D statue of their own design.
Project 3: Stepping into Abstraction
What happens when we move beyond creating realistic objects? In this project, students will explore the world of abstract sculpture, investigating how artists use shape, form, pattern, and balance to communicate ideas and emotions.
Inspired by modern and contemporary artists, students will experiment with materials and construction techniques to create their own unique sculptural artworks. This project encourages creative risk-taking, design thinking, and a deeper understanding of three-dimensional form.
