Who would like to see some new designs ???

ADVICE PLS
Very saddened today.....need some advice.
A lady asked for a custom design and showed me something she liked. I advised I could do something similar but not the same due to copyright.
I then designed something for
her and have spent over four hours refining it for her for a small price of $29, with over 10 changes.
Now she wants a refund because she says it's not what she asked for. She requested this at 7.20pm on Wednesday night and then I was in Brisbane all yesterday only to come home and find a paypal dispute. I have requested that she cancel this so I can process a refund in goodwill and so I don't get a "black mark" on my business account.
QUESTIONS:
1. Should I be giving her a refund out of goodwill even when she has the file that she could potentially use? Plus I spent so much time doing it also.
OR
2. Should I dispute the claim in PayPal and supply them with all the info and the starting invite and the one I designed

I'm really sad about this and not sure what to do.
