A direct and sincere apology to clients we were unable to reach properly.
From October 2025 through February 2026, our phone and business services were restricted due to actions involving SpinTel and an ongoing matter with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO).
This disruption has been ongoing for over 14 months and caused significant operational impact to our communications.
We are returning to full operational and structured back into our seasonal shearing program.
📅 IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ
We are currently in mid-shearing season.
• Spots are limited
• All runs are weather-dependent
• Clients must follow booking and livestock preparation instructions to remain on schedule
🌐 On our website you will find TWO calendar:
1️⃣ Shearing Zones – Roster System
This shows when we are operating in your district.
2️⃣ Shearing Season At A Glance
This outlines the yearly cycle:
Prime Season → Summer → Mid Season → Winter → returning to Prime Season from August onward.
Both calendars help you plan correctly and avoid missing your run.

A little bit of common sense for livestock owners 🐐🐑
This video shows a road train loading goats in extreme heat. The driver explains what many people don’t see — or don’t think about — when it comes to livestock transport and animal welfare.
There is a lot more to livestock than most people realise.
This is no different to livestock standing in a pen during extreme summer heat. Animals don’t have air conditioners. When temperatures rise, they rely on shade, airflow, water, and timing — or they suffer.
There’s a reason you’ll see a red kangaroo sitting under a tree in the heat of the day. That’s nature using common sense. Livestock are no different.
Heat load, humidity, stress, handling, water, shade, timing, airflow, surface temperatures — it all matters. And when it’s ignored, animals suffer.
This is exactly why, when I ask clients to:
• yard early
• provide shade and airflow
• avoid peak heat
• ensure clean water
• prepare sheds properly
• follow handling and welfare advice
…it’s not opinion — it’s experience.
I’ve spent decades working with livestock in real conditions au wide — its not theory, not shortcuts, not convenience-based decisions.
If I say a job can’t proceed safely, or needs to be rescheduled due to heat or conditions, there is always a very good reason.
Common sense goes a long way.
Animal welfare comes first with Shearpower2ewe .
Preparation matters!!!!. An ignorance does not exist!!!!!.
Please watch the video and take it in — this applies to all livestock, not just goats.

⚡️🌧️ WOW… this is WILD shearing footage! 🌧️⚡️
Extremely wild — but the reality is, we’ve been dealing with extreme weather events for decades.
From 24 November 2025, the extreme heat kicked in again, and it’s only forecast to get worse through Christmas 2025 and well into 2026.
👀 Ewe really need to watch this.
And remember — you’re lucky we’re the ones who come to Ewe.
I’ve just watched footage of shearers still on the board while a massive storm cell tears through the property — rain and wind blasting straight up the shoot onto the shearing board, sheets of water coming in sideways, the shed roof starting to rip off…
The inside of the shearing shed is literally raining — and these blokes are still finishing off their last ewe. 😳🐑
It really makes you stop and think…
People never ask, “Couldn’t you just do this work outdoors?”
In weather like this? Not a chance.
Even our teams get caught while out just travelling to sites while trying to assist clients and protect livestock.
Let’s be clear:
✅ Clients are responsible for ensuring sites and livestock are ready — time is money in shearing.
✅ Our shearing teams and mobile rigs are built for extreme conditions, and we operate this way 24/7 while on the road.
✅ Extreme weather causes downtime, delays, additional handling, livestock stress, and serious safety risks.
✅ A proper shearing shed reduces exposure to storms, heat, wind, and rain — providing shelter, control, and a safer working environment to keep jobs moving.
This is exactly why good infrastructure matters.
A shed isn’t a luxury — it’s a workplace & safety. Just like our mobile shearing rigs are multi-purpose-set for extreme conditions, a proper shed can be the difference between:
👉 getting the job done safely
👉 or not getting it done at all
Stay safe out there, lads.
Nothing but respect for anyone working through conditions like this. 🙏🐑💪

Remembering Raymond Bennett 🐑❤️
Sharing a few official work photos today of a great elderly gentleman, Raymond Bennett, who gave me solid help and some very good memories over many years. These shots really show his style lol and as an assistant we had great fun when we were shearing his alpacas — always willing, always stepping up, and always proving that age doesn’t stop you from giving things a go.
Raymond had a good heart and a good work ethic. He showed the young ones that it’s not about age — it’s about attitude and effort.
I’m heading back to Shearing his last standing alpaca soon, and he’ll be in my thoughts while I’m there.
A good man, and someone I won’t forget.
Rest easy, Raymond. 🙏🐑
