Today we serviced this beautiful African Cichlid Display Aquarium🐠
Today we added a Sand sifting starfish to our nano Saltwater Aquarium. The time lapse video will show the starfish burrowing itself in the sand. These little guys will live within the sand bed whilst they sift through the sand. Not only does this help turnover the sand bed but it will also stop nuisance algae from growing on the surface of the sand in parts of the aquarium where there isn’t as much flow.

Today we had the pleasure of Installing this Aqua One Mini Reef 90L for a client. This is a saltwater marine set up with white and blue lights. Simple sump overflow and a more advanced protein skimmer. Also features two advanced wave makers which are controlled from either side of the aquarium to adjust the flow and mimic the oceans natural wave. Just need to add some live rock and get it established and ready for some fish 🐠
Pair of clownfish and their BubbleTip Anemome
Today we added a Bubble Tip Anemone in our small Nano Reef Aquarium. Immediately the clownfish actually hosted the anemone. Clownfish and anemones benefit off one another as the anemone will provide a safe home for the clownfish and the clownfish will assist cleaning the anemone by removing algae that grows through it. Other fish will know not to go near the anemone with the fear of getting stung. Clownfish are protected from being stung by an anemone through a mucus covering on their skin. 🐠

Beautiful Malawi African Cichlid tank we serviced today. Very well done 🐠
Another addition to the nano saltwater Aquarium. This is known as a ‘Fiji Orange Tailed Puffer Fish” Puffer Fish are actually one of the most poisonous species of fish. They possess a deadly poison known as Tetrodotoxin. One Puffer fish can contain enough Tetrodotoxin to kill thrifty adult men. Puffer fish are normally destructive to corals and reef Aquariums but this orange tail Puffer is actually more reef safe and compatible than other types.🐠🐟

Today we serviced a small Brio 35 setup. We haven’t dealt much with these setups before but they actually have a very nice design which consists of fish in the aquarium on the left and live plants to the right. The plants to the right actually can access water from the bottom of the setup which is also the Aquariums own little sump setup. Very ergonomic and different from traditional setups but very appealing. The tank consisted of Neon Tetras, mollies and bristlenose catfish 🐟🐠
The Beginning stages of a Nano Saltwater set up. In comparison to fresh water setups where you only really focus on pH, ammonia and nitrite, a marine aquarium requires testing of Salinity, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrates and alkalinity to successfully allow the fish to thrive. Saltwater Aquariums requires consistency and scheduled maintenance. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks. 🐠🐟 Aquarius

4ft tropical aquarium clean. The tank consisted of some neon tetras? Platyfish and mollies. Take note of the algae buildup on the driftwood. Algae builds up over time. It’s good to constantly remove it when cleaning to ensure it doesn’t get to a really bad state. ✅
