🐋🐾 WHAAAALES!!! Ralph here—there were giant whales splashing right in front of me at Byron Bay ! I wanted to run and say “HELLLOOOOOOO!” but the hoomans said no… 😭

Still, lots of pups, people to sniff, and the foreshore smells paw-some! 🐶✨ Grab your hoomans, hit the beach, and maybe you’ll spot some whales too!

We rolled into Shark Bay ready to make some new fin-tastic friends… but it turns out the locals here might have a few too many teeth for our liking. 🦈😅

No swims for us this time though… Ralph decided he prefers his playmates a little less bitey.

Disclaimer: whilst this place is called Shark Bay, no sharks were spotted... though it might still be wise to keep your paws out of the water. Just saying.

Turns out you can enjoy delicious Thai food and still keep your pup happy. At Lanna Pad Thai in Lismore, Ralph held down the outdoor table like a very responsible restaurant supervisor while the hoomans popped inside to order.

The verdict? This small family-run Thai spot might not be fancy, but the food is packed with flavour and the service is genuinely friendly. Sometimes the best meals come from the most unassuming little places.

Ralph didn’t score any Pad Thai (a clear injustice), but he did enjoy some quality people-watching while the hoomans tucked into their takeaway outside.

🐾 Heads up, Lismore doggos & hoomans!

Victoria Street Dog Park has space to stretch and sniff, but our visit came with a bit of drama. 🐕⚡ Big off-leash pups and inattentive owners made the exit a little… heart-racing.

The park itself? Fine. The experience? Depends on who shows up that day. Keep your pups close, and your eyes peeled!

🚨 Doggos and hoomans, listen up! 🚨

Elizabeth Gardens in Lismore = off-leash excitement… with a tiny twist. Ralph got a glorious few minutes of freedom before the hoomans wisely clipped him back on. 🐾😅

Wide open grassy spaces, endless sniff potential, and a place where zoomies could happen (if you’re lucky and have impeccable recall).
