On the 15th of October 2025, Nyle and I had the privilege of capturing Dan & Tilly’s secret elopement at the stunning Lakehouse Folk in Montville.

We’ve had to keep this beautiful day under wraps for the past 8 months, but just a few days ago they shared the exciting news with the world — introducing Mr & Mrs Frost šŸ¤

We can’t wait to share their full highlight film with you, but until then, here’s the teaser film we delivered just 72 hours after their special day.

What an honour it was to be part of such an intimate and unforgettable celebration.

A little moment for the bride’s details šŸ’™

Can we take a second to appreciate these stunning blue wedding shoes? The sweetest take on ā€œsomething blueā€ and the perfect finishing touch to her bridal look.
If you’re getting married, consider this your sign to find the cutest blue shoes for your wedding day.

A stunning wedding silhouette framed by the incredible glass windows at The Cove ✨

One thing I’ve really noticed lately is just how much my style and editing has evolved since I started photography in 2020. The growth honestly feels unreal.

For so long, I would capture a photo and then ā€œfixā€ it in post-production — lifting shadows, softening contrast, brightening everything so every image felt light and airy across an entire gallery. Cohesive was always the goal.
But lately, I’ve been leaning more into creating art rather than just creating a ā€œprettyā€ photo.

I’ve started embracing light instead of fighting it. Letting shadows stay dark. Letting highlights glow. Letting harsh light, mood, contrast and natural elements become part of the story instead of editing them away.
Some of my favourite images I’ve ever taken have happened when I stopped trying to make everything perfect and started allowing the scene to feel exactly as it was.

This photo was almost one I didn’t include because the couple were a complete silhouette against the bright background. But instead of lifting the shadows and evening everything out, I leaned into the contrast and made the shadows even deeper — and honestly, I love the result šŸ¤

Proof that the ā€œbossy girlsā€ grow up to become photographers šŸ˜‚šŸ“ø

Giving direction during shoots is one of the biggest parts of my process. I never expect couples to magically know how to pose — that’s my job. I’ll hype you up, guide you the whole way, and probably make you laugh a little too much along the way šŸ¤

One thing I’ve really leaned into as I’ve grown in photography is stepping back—literally. Shooting wider, giving moments space, and letting the full story unfold within the frame instead of always being right up close.
Especially in a setting like the beach, those wider frames really come to life—the coastline, the open sky, the movement of the water—all becoming part of the portrait, not just the backdrop.
There’s something powerful about those intentional, composed wide shots—the ones that make you pause for a second and take it all in. They don’t just show a moment, they place you inside it.

Here are a few of my favourite wide captures from Dan & Rebekah’s day šŸ¤

Being a photographer is something I’ll never take for granted. šŸ¤
To be trusted with capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments — like a proposal — is both an honour and a responsibility I carry with care (and yes, a few nerves every time).
Those fleeting, emotional, beautifully real moments deserve more than just a photo… they deserve to be felt again and again.

If you’re looking for someone to capture your story with intention, heart, and genuine care for your experience — I’d love to be part of it.
Because your moments matter. And they deserve to be captured that way.
