On the 15th of October 2025, Nyle and I had the privilege of capturing Dan & Tillyās secret elopement at the stunning Lakehouse Folk in Montville.
Weāve had to keep this beautiful day under wraps for the past 8 months, but just a few days ago they shared the exciting news with the world ā introducing Mr & Mrs Frost š¤
We canāt wait to share their full highlight film with you, but until then, hereās the teaser film we delivered just 72 hours after their special day.
What an honour it was to be part of such an intimate and unforgettable celebration.

A stunning wedding silhouette framed by the incredible glass windows at The Cove āØ
One thing Iāve really noticed lately is just how much my style and editing has evolved since I started photography in 2020. The growth honestly feels unreal.
For so long, I would capture a photo and then āfixā it in post-production ā lifting shadows, softening contrast, brightening everything so every image felt light and airy across an entire gallery. Cohesive was always the goal.
But lately, Iāve been leaning more into creating art rather than just creating a āprettyā photo.
Iāve started embracing light instead of fighting it. Letting shadows stay dark. Letting highlights glow. Letting harsh light, mood, contrast and natural elements become part of the story instead of editing them away.
Some of my favourite images Iāve ever taken have happened when I stopped trying to make everything perfect and started allowing the scene to feel exactly as it was.
This photo was almost one I didnāt include because the couple were a complete silhouette against the bright background. But instead of lifting the shadows and evening everything out, I leaned into the contrast and made the shadows even deeper ā and honestly, I love the result š¤

Proof that the ābossy girlsā grow up to become photographers ššø
Giving direction during shoots is one of the biggest parts of my process. I never expect couples to magically know how to pose ā thatās my job. Iāll hype you up, guide you the whole way, and probably make you laugh a little too much along the way š¤

One thing Iāve really leaned into as Iāve grown in photography is stepping backāliterally. Shooting wider, giving moments space, and letting the full story unfold within the frame instead of always being right up close.
Especially in a setting like the beach, those wider frames really come to lifeāthe coastline, the open sky, the movement of the waterāall becoming part of the portrait, not just the backdrop.
Thereās something powerful about those intentional, composed wide shotsāthe ones that make you pause for a second and take it all in. They donāt just show a moment, they place you inside it.
Here are a few of my favourite wide captures from Dan & Rebekahās day š¤

Being a photographer is something Iāll never take for granted. š¤
To be trusted with capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments ā like a proposal ā is both an honour and a responsibility I carry with care (and yes, a few nerves every time).
Those fleeting, emotional, beautifully real moments deserve more than just a photo⦠they deserve to be felt again and again.
If youāre looking for someone to capture your story with intention, heart, and genuine care for your experience ā Iād love to be part of it.
Because your moments matter. And they deserve to be captured that way.
