What is RMT? Itās the minimum stimulation intensity needed to produce a visible hand twitch and it is the safe power level we use during the treatment!
Each patientās brain is individual and this is how we make sure every session is personalised from the start.
Watching clinicians and trainees learn (and get this excited about) the science behind TMS is exactly what these training events are about!
Honestly, what more could you want? šš»

Have you tried more than one antidepressant and still donāt feel like yourself?
If this sounds like you, swipe through to see how TMS works differently to medication and how it might be the next treatment option for you.
We are committed to exploring safe, evidence-informed options for people who have not had the results they were hoping for from medication alone. TMS is a non-invasive therapy that directly targets the areas of the brain involved in mood regulation, with no drugs and no compounds introduced to the body.
If you are curious about TMS and want to learn more about our clinics, please call our team on (08) 6166 3733 for our WA clinics, or (08) 8125 8500 for our Adelaide clinic, or visit our website via the link:

Throwback to last yearās Alzheimerās Walk to Remember š«¶š»
Itās World Alzheimer's Day today, and a chance to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease and support those living with it, along with their loved ones.
So, how might TMS therapy support individuals who are in the early stages of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease?
At Modalis, we offer access to an early-stage, research-based protocol for Alzheimerās. It is off-label and still at a research level.
The protocol is based on research exploring whether stimulating specific areas of the brain - including the DLPFC and Posterior Parietal Cortex - could support brain connectivity and cognition in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
Suitability depends on a person's individual health and history, and the person receiving treatment needs to be able to give their own consent.
If you would like to learn more about this off-label research protocol, please call our team on (08) 6166 3733 for our WA clinics, or (08) 8125 8500 for our Adelaide clinic, or visit our website at www.modalis.com.au

Another incredible WA TMS Training Course done! š§ āØ
Last weekend, healthcare professionals and researchers from across WA came together for two days of theory, practical training and collaboration.
Run through UWA | The University of Western Australia in collaboration with Perron Institute , we hold the only RANZCP-accredited TMS training course in WA, and we could not be prouder of everyone who took part.
Itās always a reminder of why sharing knowledge across the TMS community matters so much. Thank you for showing up and helping to build the future of TMS in Perth.
Stay tuned for updates on our next course! The WA TMS Training Program is run as two microcredentials through UWA | The University of Western Australia, and additional course dates are available by request for groups of four or more.
Visit the link in our bio to find out more. š
Hereās what happens next after we receive a TMS referral. š§
After a TMS referral from a suitable healthcare professional, one of our TMS Clinicians will contact the patient directly for a short screening phone call - walking them through TMS, answering any questions, and outlining the next steps.
If an MRI is needed to rule out any organic causes or to calibrate our MRI-guided Neuronavigation, we will arrange that at this stage.
From there, one of our TMS Specialist Psychiatrists will assess whether TMS is the right clinical option before any treatment begins.
Throughout the entire journey, your patient is supported by our team every step of the way. š«¶š»
If you have any questions about whether a patient may be suitable or to refer a patient, visit our website via the link in our bio, or send a referral letter to our Western Australia or South Australia team.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team on (08) 6166 3733 for our WA clinics or (08) 8125 8500 for our Adelaide clinic, or visit our website via the link in our bio. š
