After a bit of time on the sidelines, the #25 is finally back up and running.
A massive thanks to everyone who has helped us get back to this point with advice, support and a hand in the shed — Gav, Harry Rocket and Woz, we really appreciate it. A big thank you as well to my family, the team at Genwest Pty Ltd. and Statewest Group Pty Ltd, Craig and RACIN for the ongoing support.
We rolled the car out for a couple of practice runs last night and it felt great to be back behind the wheel. With just a few small adjustments to go, we’re ready to take on Late Model Speedweek at the Perth Motorplex.
WA State Title – 6–7 March MHR Hump Day Hustle – 11 March
Late Model Nationals (100 Laps) – 13–14 March
It’s shaping up to be a huge week of racing and the team is pumped to get out there, turn some laps, have some fun and catch up with plenty of mates at the track.
Doing this as a family with my daughters and having my Dad in the shed and at the track with me, means more than words can say.

Late Model Racing Western Australia - LMRWA

As we don’t have the #25 Late Model ready to race just yet, but we are getting close, and disappointed to miss the Esperance and Kalgoorlie races this weekend we are back at Bunbury helping a mate on his 360 sprint car and keen for a good night

After blowing up our motor in December the team has still been working on the car and doing some maintenance and upgrades on the trailer, thanks to Devil Raceparts for trailer privacy screen.

We have plans of being back on track in March.

Late Model Racing Western Australia - LMRWA

Season Update

After a solid run on Boxing Day, we took a lot of positives out of the repairs and improvements made to the #25 after missing a few meetings due to damage sustained on 1/11. The car felt better and showed good signs, which gave us some confidence heading into the 29/12, Night 2 of the High Limit Series.
Unfortunately, during Heat 1 we hurt our engine. That definitely took the wind out of our sails and left the team feeling pretty deflated. We took a couple of weeks away from our own program, spending time helping mates with their speedway cars, seeing in the New Year with friends, and squeezing in a quick getaway for the driver’s birthday. We were still around the track where we could be, helping and supporting others.

During this time, Chloe (our team manager) was asked to help out as an ambassador for the Motorplex alongside her good friend Kelly, which was a great opportunity. And at least one member of the team managed to make it onto the Late Model podium, so not all was lost!
The car has now been stripped, and both engines are back with the engine builder. The small motor is due for some love and upgrades after completing three seasons of trouble-free racing. The big motor is currently being assessed, and we’re hopeful it can be salvaged, but we’ll know more soon.
For now, our season is on hold until we can get an engine back in the car. I can’t thank my family, friends, and sponsors enough for their continued support — it truly means everything to us.

It’s been a little while since our last update. Our most recent race meeting was on 1 November 2025, where we unfortunately sustained some damage in the feature race after being caught up in an incident involving several cars ahead of us.
Since that meeting, the car has undergone the necessary repairs along with a number of additional improvements. We’ve made several changes aimed at delivering a more settled and consistent package, and we’re looking forward to getting back on track to see how these changes perform.
The team is planning to return to racing at the Perth Motorplex for the Boxing Day Bonanza, LMRWA Pro Dirt Series Round 5, on Friday 26 December 2025. We’ll then be back at the Motorplex on Monday 29 December 2025 for the second night of the High Limit International, which also doubles as Round 6 of the LMRWA Pro Dirt Series.
All going well, we’ll then make the trip down to Albany Speedway on Saturday 3 January 2026 for Round 7 of the LMRWA Pro Dirt Series.
