If some of these aren't put on to walls...
Hey everyone just letting you know the photos taken at Nutrien Ag Solutions Alcoa International Horse Trials on Saturday are now all online.

Only a few hours sleep the last few nights so I'm heading off to bed.
Enjoy :)
Where do we start! Thank you so much to Nutrien Ag Solutions Alcoa International Horse Trials for once again putting on such an amazing event, our team had such a fantastic weekend.
Gail was on her favourite school horse Patchy, and they had an amazing 3 phases finishing in 7th place in a big field!

Sally had a few unexpected surprises with Theo but rounded out the weekend with a foot perfect cross country run.

Elizabeth and Enzo shone through their dressage with an an impressive 32.5 penalties, just picking up a few penalties showjumping and then sailing through cross country finishing on a high.

As usual Jéssica and banjo made the 95 look easy! Each phase was super, finishing just outside the placings.

Habiba tackled the 95 as well, a little tense through the dressage but enjoying themselves in both jumping phases leaving them 13th in a big OTT class.

Dani and Jet continue their great form, little unsettled dressage but double clear in sj and xc left them in a fantastic 7th place in 1*.

Michael also had 1 in the 1*, the beautiful Remi, who was on form from the very start, sitting 3rd after dressage with 30.6, confidently jumping both phases to maintain his great 3rd place. Spirit was the perfect gentleman all weekend!! He is becoming very reliable and rideable across all phases and finished in a respectable 9th place, but as usual Gus was the highlight! Unfortunately dressage wasn’t as relaxed as hoped but Gus tried his heart out with the jumping, a rail and some xc time penalties added to their dressage score to finish in an amazing 2nd place in the CCI4*S. The dream team getting the job done yet again!

Thanks so much to all the volunteers, committee members, vets, TD’s, course builders, jump builders, and helpers, without you all we wouldn’t get to gallop around the most picturesque cross country in WA. Prep now starts for the Eventing Grand Prix on 3rd of October at the stunning Brookleigh.

Another beautiful run for NEP Longbeach in the EA 80 sponsored by Ramsay's Horse Transport. Miss Sandy preformed a beautiful dressage test with some amazing moves (big credit to her owner Alicia Sams-Hayes and dressage coach Marj Radford). Showjumping was incredible with a lovely clear round (Thankyou to my showjump coaches Makayla Wood Performance Coach and Trevor March Show Jumping). Cross country was a blast with one green moment but still rolling in on time. Super impressed with this mare!

Thankyou to Alicia, Wayne and Justin Sams-hayes for doing my helper duties, taking me to these events, letting me steal your horses and being the best of company.

The “good part” and the “splash” from a different angle!

You can see more clearly here how Jack propped on landing in the water and spat me out! 💦💦

What a fantastic event Nutrien Ag Solutions Alcoa International Horse Trials was. Thankyou and well done to the committee, it takes a huge team to run these events and your efforts were incredible.

Despite the scoreboard, I am so thrilled with how Jack Frost performed this weekend. He stepped up to the challenge, on many platforms, and I am so impressed and excited for this horses future.

I’m not sure yet if I am keen to ride in the bigger grades again, but I feel that if I decide to do so, I’m sitting on a horse that will 😌💙

Thankyou to everyone who supported me this weekend, particularly Coby, Mum and Dad. Today my Dad started me cross country. That was something in itself, I love you Dad xx

Well done to my clients and friends this weekend, I am always proud to watch you in your ventures. Eventing isn’t an easy sport and it’s important to have a team behind you to support you when things get hard.

Happy Riding, onwards and upwards 👏🏼👏🏼

As you start to plan your 2022 evening calendar make sure you pencil in Nutrien Ag Solutions Alcoa International Horse Trials (17/18 Sep) as we are excited to announce the return of International Course Designer, Ewan Kellett (pictured below in his element). Ewan was the brain child of our feature bank, the owl hole, the wagon, using the water twice and using the main hill more so that the majority of the course is easily viewable. We are very excited to have him returning in 2022.

We are also close to confirming the Rider Video team again along with a number of other exciting event improvements. We plan to run from EvA80 to FEI 4*, as well as CT60 and we will again include a number of dedicated classes and special awards. It’s an event not to missed.

Many thanks to those that nominated us for Event of the Year and Club of the Year!!

There are so many generous people that help make our event a success and this is fantastic recognition for their contributions. Thank you

Special mention also to our committee members (and their supporters) Liz Ingham, Jeremy Ingham, Jackie Sept, Kate Ingham, Gerry Farrelly, Peter Hickson and Tessa Sharman-Farrelly for also being nominated for awards that recognise your contribution to the sport. We are very lucky to have such committed and passionate people on our committee and even more fortunate to have such great support teams behind the committee.

We also want to thank Penny Dodd who is our FEI steward for everything she has done for us over the years. It great to see you being nominated for multiple awards which is well deserved recognition.

It was very fitting to also see Sue Warren being recognised as she does a lot behind the scenes and she has a long history with this event.

Another of our officials and a delight to work with, Chris Edwards is on the list and a very worthily recepient as we consider chris to be the future of eventing here in WA.

Congratulations also to Elaine and Polly who have been critical and valued members of our FEI Ground Jury who have also made the list. Thankyou and Well done ladies

Good luck to all the nominees.

Teamwork makes the dream work 🦄🦄

Thank you to those generous people who volunteer their time as critical members of our Organiaing Committee (OC). Eventing is a equine sport like no other with a huge task list and lots of things to organise pre, during and post the event. Thankyou to our wonderful team for everything you did and continue to do to make our 2021 event a huge success.

Thanks team

Next up are some more highly valued volunteers who went above and beyond for our event.

The amazing Glen Day for his help with the shed reconstruction but what was even more amazing was the use and generous donation of his amazing blue machine which saved the event $1000’s in hire costs. This machine easily put out all the massive XC fences and appeared to be fun to operate for Jeremy Ingham. Glen you are a legend, thankyou so much. We are very excited to have you as part of XC prep team.

Nat Barr and family thankyou so much for helping brush pre event (this is one of our event directors least favorite jobs so your contribution is even more appreciated 😜). You were also super helpful post event with clean up. Thankyou very much

Its takes a huge team of volunteers to make our event a success and we would like to take a moment to thank the following individuals who helped make our event a great success.

Rodney Eden-Street, owner and operator of Rod's Equine Solutions who donated many hours and machines to assist with preparing the cross country course.

Alcoa employee and valued critical onsite support, Steve Dwyer for going the extra mile in managing the stock for maximum benefit to our arenas and courses, cleaning up the wooded areas before the event and burning the trash piles after the event.

Lance quartermaine who gave us a days hard yakka cutting up and and moving logs on tracks as well as slashing the parking paddock.

Eric Walmsley, who again in 2021 kindly delivered and donated the use of the HUGE wagon we used in the 4*.

John Moore who kindly donated the big hay rolls we used to dress the course.

Peter Mac for kindly organising the start and finish teams for us.

Huge thanks gentlemen, your contributions are highly valued and made a big difference.

Here is the winner of the best photo competition thanks to Shannan Whitby Art and Spooks Riding Australia.

It’s very fitting that Taya Van Rensburg is pictured here jumping the WA Farm Shop fence 💛. The WA Farm Shop are the generous sponsors of the FEI Grand Slam series which concludes this weekend at Swan River Horse Trials. We wish all the riders a safe and enjoyable event.

Thanks Eric Lloyd Photography for this amazing photo 🌟

Well done Taya, it’s a ripper photo

Behind a organising committee of strong minded, passionate and committed women there are those special men who offer their time, skills and support to help make our event the success it is. These are very tolerant, understanding and supportive men. We are so incredibly grateful to all those key support people and volunteers who support each member of our committee.

Special mention to these three generous men with family ties to our committee;
🦄 Gerry Farrelly () for the many days of mowing and numerous hours helping to finish the XC, move judges tents, erect fencing and install sponsor signage. Whenever a committee member needed a hand Gerry was there and happy to help.
🦄 Jeremy Ingham for spending over 5 weeks on site getting the venue ready and then packing it all away. Jeremy’s keen eye for detail ensures all the jumps and equipment are very well maintained and cared for. This is a HUGE time and energy commitment and the event would not happen without it.
🦄 Peter Hickson for donating his fabulous tractor plus the many days and hours of his time to help put jumps out and bring them back in. You are a machine Pete!

While he may not have direct family ties to this years event, he is definitely part of this events family. It was outstanding to see the legend himself, Mark Warren back out on the hill helping brush fences, build the new start box and finish off fences. The Warren family have a strong legacy when it comes to events run on these stunning farm lands and we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and contribution.

Many thanks gentlemen, we couldn't do it without you.

Special thanks to the Gielan family who courageously stepped in and volunteered to look after our officials and volunteers for the duration of the event. This included breakfast, lunch and dinner for our lovely officials as well as the catering and high quality hosting of the function center.

The feedback from our officials and sponsors was overwhelmingly positive. Thankyou so much Michelle Gielen and Brendan.

This role is normally filled by the wonderful Lindley Cassidy who sadly had a very scary horse fall that meant she had spent more time in hospital than at the home in the months leading into the event. We are very excited to see that Lindley is finally on the road on recovery and incredibly grateful to the Gielens for stepping in and filling Lindley's shoes.

Special mention to Maddi who also very kindly and professionally hosted the Livestream which was a new feature this year, we hoped you all enjoyed it.

Thankyou again for giving up your birthday weekend and changing your travel plans to step in an provide such a high quality service!! You guys are amazing
