Today’s focus:
Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned Squad 50 girl , this workout meets you where you’re at.
For our beginners : today is about learning the movement, easing in, and building confidence. Take your time, focus on technique, and find your rhythm. No rush. Every stroke counts.
For our intermediate crew : this is your chance to set a solid pace, build endurance, and dial in your form. Strong, controlled pulls and steady breathing.
Ground rules for today:
✔️ Focus on technique over speed
✔️ Find a comfortable rhythm
✔️ Control your breathing
✔️ Consistency beats going too hard too soon
Remember… everyone starts somewhere and every session is a step forward.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 💛
Today we celebrate the strength of women everywhere and especially the women showing up inside our Squad 50 community.
Every time you train, you’re doing more than just training.
You’re showing that strength has no age limit.
You’re proving that it’s never too late to start.
You’re showing courage, resilience and commitment.
And whether you realise it or not… the next generation are watching.
Your daughters.
Your granddaughters.
The younger women in our community.
They see women supporting women.
They see women getting stronger.
They see women refusing to give up on themselves.
That example is powerful.
At Squad 50 we are proud to stand beside women who continue to show up, lift each other up and inspire those around them.
Strong women don’t just build strength, they build the future.

If your body feels different…
If your recovery is slower…

Hormonal changes are real.
And training through menopause looks different, not worse.

Menopause isn’t the end of strength.
It’s the start of a new chapter.
Hot flushes. Brain fog. Mood swings. Sleepless nights.
And somehow… we’re still showing up.
Menopause (and peri-menopause) isn’t talked about enough — especially in fitness spaces. But bodies change, hormones shift, and that doesn’t mean we stop moving. It means we move smarter, together.
At Squad 50, we train for:

✔ longevity
✔ confidence
✔ community
No pressure. No shame. No “bounce back” nonsense.
Just women supporting women through every stage.
You’re not broken.

Squad 50 reminder 🤍
We know during the holidays it can be hard to stick to your usual routine, different time zones, busy days, full hearts, full plates… all of it.
But here’s the thing: movement doesn’t have to look “perfect” to be powerful.
Whether it’s a walk on the beach, a stretch in the morning sun, a swim, a quick bodyweight session, or simply taking time to breathe and meditate .. it all counts. Moving your body in any way supports your physical health, clears your mind, reduces stress, and helps you reconnect with yourself.

Where movement can look like slowing down, grounding yourself, and giving your nervous system a reset. Meditation, mindful movement, and intentional rest are just as effective as a hard session in the gym.
So wherever you are, and however you move, keep showing up for yourself.
