Unfortunately we wonโt be able to go ahead with the VSTR ride on the 26th June due to not having the required number of official riders needed to meet ATHRA guidelines.
The good news is weโre already looking ahead to our next ride! Join us on Sunday 5th July at the SEC, weโd love to see you there for another great day out on the trails!๐ด๐ฟ

๐ฟ๐ด Celebrate World Trails Day with VSTR ๐ด๐ฟ
On June 6, trail lovers around the world will be celebrating the places that connect us to nature, adventure, friendship, and community.
At Valley Scenic Trail Riders, we know trails are more than just tracks through the bush โ they are places to recharge, explore, build confidence, and share unforgettable moments with our horses and friends.

Trail Boss Accreditation Weekend
This weekend 8 of our members completed the ATHRA accredited Trail Boss course. 7 gained their trail boss accreditation and 1 their ride coordinator accreditation.
Trails bosses are an essential part of the trail riding team, they take responsibility for the ride, brief the riders before the ride, ensure the safety of riders and direct the other stewards, lead and drag riders. They are the ones that step in and coordinate the teams response should an injury or accident occur and have overall responsibility for the ride, so itโs a big responsibility these amazing horse women have taken on!
The weekend was lead by the amazing Clare Cummins who gave up her weekend to fly from the East coast to train us. She was a wealth of knowledge and experience and we were very lucky to have her take the weekend.
