"How will I add value if I donāt have all the answers?"
If you are constantly the "hub" for every solution, your team members remain just the "spokes." It drains your energy and limits their best thinking.
Facilitation isn't about the tools you use; itās about holding presence and detachment in tension. It feels wildly uncomfortable to let go of the outcome, but that is exactly where the growth happens.

A trip down memory lane as I unpack another box of books shipped from the UK. This is especially poignant as the great man left this earth almost a year ago.
Find memories of the exec programme at in 2000. Ed Schein made a lasting impression on me. I am forever grateful for his teaching and how he showed up. Humble and intellectually awesome. Sooo happy to be reunited with this after 12.5 years in storage ā¤ļøš„³

On tour around Japan and visited this confronting museum and today.
A timely reminder of how circumstances can suddenly change. And a sobering message to retain our rational side.
I watched one of the videos on the rise of fascism before WW2 and realised how little we have learned.
Be kind to yourself AND others regardless of whether or not they are different from you. I have also learned the healing powers of trade to conflict having visited Kagoshima earlier in the week.
We are one human race, perfectly flawed yet full of enormous potential. Let's focus on that.
