A key detail in this project was bonding the neighbour’s fence seamlessly into the new one, creating a clean, continuous finish that not only looks great but keeps everything aligned and well presented. It’s those small touches that elevate the whole space into a polished, private outdoor area ready to enjoy.

Metal framing provides greater durability compared to traditional timber subframes, with better resistance to moisture, movement, and long-term wear. The result is a deck that stays solid and reliable for many years.

The darker decking colour also brings a bold and modern look to this backyard space.

A small transformation that makes a big difference.

This small outdoor laundry area / courtyard previously had a sand floor, which made the space impractical to use. Installing this deck created a clean, solid surface and turned the area into a much more functional part of the house.

Even compact spaces like this can benefit from thoughtful improvements — simple solutions that improve both usability and appearance.

This external cladding was installed to create more privacy for the backyard while also adding a clean architectural finish to the space.

With the new cladding in place, the area is now ready for its next stage — a backyard upgrade that will soon include a swimming pool and a barbecue area, turning it into a perfect outdoor space for relaxing and entertaining.

When our customer asked us to choose both the decking board colour and the slat fencing colour, we didn’t hesitate. The goal was simple — create something that blends naturally with the house and the surroundings.

The result came together perfectly, giving this front yard a clean and modern look. With the deck facing the sunset and a park just across the street, it’s the perfect spot for the owners to sit back and enjoy those beautiful afternoon views.

This project was inspired by a memory from the clients’ honeymoon over 40 years ago. We built a decking pathway leading to a false door and installed wall cladding to recreate their vision. Photos taken prior to final completion.
