On Saturday we had our first rehearsal since Hobart. We started by having a celebratory glass of bubbles to toast to our achievements at convention. Of course, having bubbles prior to singing meant we had the most unproductive and chatty rehearsal ever but sounded totally awesome 😂

To top off an incredible convention, we had the honour of being selected for the quartet masterclass 🤩 We are so grateful for this opportunity and honoured to play a role in what we’ve always found an incredibly valuable class!

Sweet Adelines International Sweet Adelines Australia

We have had a wonderful weekend competing at the Sweet Adelines Australia regional contest and managed a score of 566! This is a 42 point increase from last year, and we also managed to land in 6th place! We are so thrilled with the feedback we received from the judges 🥰😍
Congratulations to our new regional champs Alouette Quartet 🎶 Congrats also to fellow Perth Harmony Chorus quartets Butterscotch Quartet, and Lyrebirds who also set new personal best scores! 🤩🤩🎶
We had a relaxing day watching our friends cross the stage in the chorus competition, and then sang with the STAR chorus - what fun!!
Congratulations to our new regional champions Brindabella Chorus who delivered an incredible performance. Wow!!

Having a ball so far in Hobart!
Wednesday mic open mic night run by Stardust Circle was great fun- so well run!
Today was spent at the quartet chorus rehearsal, quartet walk-throughs followed by some final coaching with Bec Hewitt. We had to get a pic with incredible view from Wrest Point. Hobart is such a beautiful city.
The real fun happens tomorrow on contest day!

We had our last ‘big’ performance before Hobart last night at Indian Blue Chorus family and friends night. What a beautiful audience we had! Thank you for all the love you sent our way, we will take it to Hobart and give it back tenfold 💖
It was so exciting to see our friends at Indian Blue Chorus perform, as well as quartets Frankincense Butterscotch, and Hullabaloo! This convention is going to be so much FUN!

Eek! It’s all starting to feel very real! We’re beyond excited to be travelling to Hobart, and we’re so grateful for the support we received for our Barbershop and Bubbles Fundraiser that helped make our dreams of attending come true 🥹💛🥂🎶
