THE FEMALE ATHLETE
1 in 3 women who participate in sport have urinary incontinence.
90% of those who leak have never told anyone.
64.4% don’t know there are treatment options.
88.1% say they want to explore treatment options.
This is for ALL women not just those who have had a baby.

A common statement from our clients is that the focus during pregnancy is primarily on the birth and they wished that they had thought more about preparing for the post-natal period.
During our PREGNANCY AND BEYOND education session, our physios discuss how to prepare, and what to expect after your baby has arrived such as:
🔹Acute perineum care
🔹C section recovery
🔹Timeframes to return to exercise
🔹Breastfeeding difficulties
🔹Mental Health
We also strongly recommend ALL women regardless of mode of delivery come in to have a 6 week post-natal PHYSIO assessment for an individualised plan for your post-natal journey.
Our Women’s Health Physios (Anna, Liz and Steph) are available 7 days a week to help!
