Every Australia Day I try to go fishing.
I don’t fish.
I’m not good at it.
Nor do I really like eating fish
But it seems like the Australian thing to do. So I’ll keep trying and maybe one of these days I’ll catch something worth talking about.

2025 was about laying foundations.
2026 is about raising the standard.
We’re deep in development on four new Ember products—designed for people who actually use their gear, not just look at it.
Fewer compromises. Better materials. Purpose-built.
This is just the beginning. 🔥
When you finally get a trip organised, make the 4-hour drive, and forget to check the forecast

Australia Post might be closed for the day, but we’re still packing orders to ensure our side is sorted for the second their doors open.

Our Story.
Before Ember Adventure Gear, I owned an electrical business here in WA.
On average, we had four staff. Hectic days. Around 5,500 jobs a year, roughly 21 jobs every working day, for 7.5 years straight, not including after-hours emergencies and everything else that comes with running a trade-based business. Just really big 12-13 hour days, back to back all year round.
But it couldn't continue forever. And a big lifestyle change was needed.
I wanted to create a new income for my family , but more than that, I wanted to be genuinely happy. To spend time with my three-year-old daughter. To be a husband who was present, not worn out and miserable at the end of every day. And to enjoy my own life, to get outdoors and create some adventures for myself.
So I took the leap and sold that business.
I ventured into an entirely new style of business with zero contacts and no real idea how to build something like this from the ground up.
Looking back now, that’s my biggest achievement.
Standing here thinking: Holy s**t, this business actually has legs… and f**k me dead, I actually enjoy it!
And this is only the beginning.
Next year, I’ll be pushing even harder.
Keep an eye on us.
