A Bittersweet Farewell to Bryan's Racing Career

Tonight marks the end of an incredible era. Since 1997, Bryan has poured his heart and soul into racing—starting with productions, sprint cars, and most recently, dedicating the last nine years to F500s. This evening will be his final race as a driver.

One of Bryans memborable moments was being made life member of hillview speedway in 2019.

After this season, Bryan has chosen to step back from the driver’s seat to embrace a new role—cheering on and supporting from the sidelines, enjoying the sport he loves from a new perspective.

We want to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude to all the sponsors and supporters who have stood by him over the years. Without your unwavering belief and encouragement, Bryan's racing journey wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you for being part of this amazing ride!

Round 6 Speedway

Heat 1 - Started P2 finished P3.
Heat 2 - Started P9 finished P5.

Car was handling how Bryan wanted it to, only a tyre change throughout the night. After the two heats Bryan made it into the pole shootout.

Pole Shootout #1 - 2 laps - Bryan against Debbie, with Bryan crossing the finish line 2.254 sec in front of Deb.

Pole Shootout #2 - 2 laps - Bryan against Chloe, with Chloe being too good for Bryan, Chloe crossing the finish line 1.026 secs in front of Bryan.

This setting Bryan up to start out P5 in the feature.

Feature:
Despite a few incidents and stoppages early on Bryan starts were impressive however just one lap into a 20 lap feature. Bryan was hit by another driver causing him to hit the wall with another driver unable to avoid the situation made contact, resulting in his car tumbling and rolling multiple times, fortunately Bryan walked away unscathed however his car did not.

It was an unfortunate end to Bryan‘s night, he will be a busy man when he returns from work to get the car back ready for round 7 .

We participate in these races for the enjoyment and thrill not only for ourselves but also for our families and follow Speedway enthusiasts, incidents like these which could be avoided risk diminishing the sport.

We hope everyone involved is okay and has a speedy recovery!

Another weekend of racing this time at Esperance Speedway.

Feature Race in comments and Reel

Heat 1- Started P1 finished P3, had an issue in second gear, was annoyed as I was pretty happy with the car setup, after doing a few hot laps but second gear just wasn’t playing the game in this heat!

Heat 2 - started P8 finished P4, which put me on pole for the mid pack shuffle, car was handling pretty good in the heat, the track was abrasive on the tyres so decided to change them for the mid pack shuffle.

Mid Pack Shuffle - started P1 finished P1, had to work my self back to P1 after having a slow start, tyres got heat to them which allowed me to get more grip mid race which made the car pick up speed and #21 ended in P1.

Feature - Started P7 finished P7, got the old girl back in the trailer in one piece, overall car was awesome in the feature, was a great night of racing with minimal changes.

Now to get her ready for the next round in Albany in March.

What a great two nights of racing down at the Perth Motorplex for the WA State Title.

Night 1 - was a bit of trial and error throughout both heats, not a lot of changes going into the feature but the few changes made helped the car drive alot better.

Knew i was almost there and she only needed a few small tweeks, took her home, gave her a wash, changed the set up slightly, dressed her with some new treads, then gave her a rub down with a lil baby oil, to freshen her up 🤗

Going into the last night of the state title we just wanted to make sure we drive safe and roll the car back onto the trailer in one piece!

Night 2 - heat race car felt good, had speed there but the track wasnt playing nice, couldnt get a line drive good enough to hold and let her do her thing. Made a few minor changes, adjusted the shockies slightly, rubbed her down again with a lil baby oil and asked her to show me what she can do out there! 🤣

WA State Title Feature - started P13 and finished P8!! WOW what a bloody great race that was, she started a lil slow, warming up having a feel of the track the first few laps trying to find a good drive line, she then decided to drive up top, somewhere i dont usually drive but i had trust in the old girl, and i must say she handled it pretty god damn good, was fast, comfortable and I let her do all the work and she pulled through, she made me a happy man, its the best she driven at the Motorplex!

JA Night 2 - decided to make some major set up changes last minute…
Heat 3 - started out in P6 finished P15 - wasn’t getting any front drive or traction on the rear wheels, decided to make further changes for the next heat.
Heat 4 - started out in P13 finished P15, knew then the changes made were only taking me backwards so decided to go back to my original plan for the feature.
Feature - started out in P16 finished P12!!
Overall had to try a few changes to mix things up a lil but as they say you should listen to yr wife 😂

State title next week - going in with the map and set up that I used in the JA feature this weekend and just make those minor changes if needed.

Thank you for all that helped out In the pits tonight!! Much appreciated 😃

Feature started out at P14 finished P15, car felt mint for almost 10laps then tapped the car in front, which knocked my front end set up, upset my car and was hard to drive!!
