🏁 RACE RECAP – PERTH MOTORPLEX 🏁
Last night the team hit the Perth Motorplex for our final outing before the Christmas break, and the boys did us proud!

🔥 Heat 1
Kris rolled off P3 and put in a flawless drive to take the win.
Raz started right behind in P5 and shadowed Kris all the way to the line, bringing it home in a strong P2.

🔥 Heat 2
Grid positions swapped with Raz off P2 and Kris from P4. Raz launched to an early lead and controlled the race until lapped traffic on the final lap created a tricky moment, dropping him back to P3 at the flag.
Kris was right there waiting to pounce, slipping through for P2.

🏁 Feature Race
The results set Kris on pole (P1) and Raz in P3 for the feature.
When the green dropped, WA1 Daniel Kennedy got the jump, leaving our boys to battle it out for second. Kris and Raz put on a great show with some tight, clean racing between them. In the end, Kris locked down P2, with Raz close behind in P3.

A great night all round — straight race cars, solid results, and plenty of smiles in the pits.

We’re now taking a break for Christmas and will return in February for the second half of the season.

FBR Race Report – Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway

We were up bright and early Saturday, running on minimal sleep, washing and prepping the cars before hitting the road to Margaret River Speedway for our first run of the season at the new DMAWA home track — and night two of our double-header weekend.

Both cars were strong in hot laps and things were looking promising. Unfortunately, Kris suffered a power steering box failure in Heat 1, ending his night early… but not before he somehow still wheeled it home in 2nd place, with Raz bringing the 88 in 3rd right behind him.

With Kris sidelined, it was up to the 88 to carry the flag. Raz put together a rock-solid night with a consistent run of second-place finishes in all remaining heats and the feature — just couldn’t quite snag that top step this time!

What a night at the Motorplex! 🏁🔥
The team came away with 2nd and 3rd place trophies, and the cars are getting quicker every time they hit the track. Still a few little gremlins to sort out, but the pace is coming — Kris even laid down the fastest lap of the night in Heat 2! ⚡️

No rest for the wicked — we’re turning the cars around and heading to Margaret River tonight for more racing action.

🏁 New Division Announcement – V8 Dirt Modifieds Hit the Track!

Big things are happening at Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway this season as we officially welcome the V8 Dirt Modifieds to the club! 💥

These beasts have joined as a new club division, bringing serious horsepower and action to the dirt of the South West. Thanks to the amazing support from GT Brake & Clutch Repairs Busselton, the V8 Dirt Modifieds now have a new home base and fans can look forward to seeing plenty more of these machines tearing it up throughout the season!

This is a huge step for the sport and another win for our speedway family as we continue to grow and showcase some of the best racing talent in WA. 👊🔥

First race of the season ✅

We finally hit the track last night for our first run of the season! Managed to get two heats in before the rain came down and the meeting was called off.

We’re stoked to come away with 1st and 2nd in both heats, with Kris in the #87 car taking the win both times.

Despite the weather, it was an awesome night and great to have the cars back out doing what they’re built for. Big thanks to all our sponsors, crew, family and supporters for making it happen.

A few teething issues to iron out, but we’ll be back and ready for round two on November 14th at the Motorplex!
