Designs From The Forrest
Vector artworks of native Australian flora and fauna, created by Forrest He in Perth, Western Australia. Shipping available Australia-wide.
Hi everyone,
I have an important update to make for my products. Please pay careful attention.
1) After much deliberation, I have decided to increase my prices. Several customers and associates are of the opinion that I may be underselling my artworks and de-valuing them, and I am in agreement, especially after visiting local art markets and seeing the prices of the artworks there. These changes will ensure the longevity of my business and allow me to keep myself afloat.
The new prices will be as follow:
36 x 24in (standard poster size) – $120 or 3 for $320
A1 – $100 or 3 for $270
A2 – $85 or 3 for $240
A3 – $70 or 3 for $190
A4 – $55 or 3 for $150
A5 – $40 or 3 for $100
But not to worry, this price change will be effective in two weeks time, so I encourage you to place any orders by then to take advantage of the current prices. A reminder that custom commissions are the same price as any other order, and are priced by size. Any custom orders placed within the next two weeks will be charged the current prices, regardless of when the design is completed and dispatched.
2) The order process will be a little different, effective once the price change is implemented. I will no longer be sending the orders to your local Officeworks, as I have since been made aware of quality control issues occasionally arising during the printing process. As I would like more oversight over the quality of my products, I will be personally printing out the posters and dispatching them for delivery (which will incur an additional charge of $10). This will mean your order may take longer to arrive but will ensure that I oversee the complete fulfilment process and manage any issues that may arise.
After PMing me with your order of choice, I will ask for your details (delivery address, and phone number or email address). I will then email you an invoice with my bank details to send the payment to. Orders will not be dispatched until the payment has been received on my end (which may take a few days, depending on your bank).
Thank you for all your support, I hope you can understand why I've decided to enact these changes.

The biennial Reptile Rampage at Discover Deadly was an absolute blast and I had a great time running my first-ever stall there (despite feeling a bit under the weather). Thank you to Becca, Kim and the rest of the Discover Deadly crew for organising the event, and I can't wait to see the next one.
At the Rampage, I unveiled six new designs, all with relevance to the Southwestern Australia biodiversity hotspot, and expanding beyond the usual snakes (as I may continue to do in the future 😉). These designs are all available for sale now and have been added to the catalogue.

A new species of Velvet Gecko (genus Oedura) has just been described, from the basalt outcrops of inland north Queensland. Meet the Basalt Velvet Gecko (Oedura atra)!
So I've had to update the current Velvet gecko artwork to include its newest member. In its portrait orientation, there was no room to add another gecko, so I've had to re-orient and re-arrange the artwork in a landscape orientation to comfortably fit all 20 species. This will now be the new Velvet Gecko artwork design going forward and the previous portrait version will be withdrawn.

For any customers attending the 2025 Reptile Rampage at Discover Deadly in March, my stall will be a collection point for any orders placed and specified to be collected there. Also for sale will be a selection of my artworks in various sizes but mostly at smaller sizes (A2, A3, A4) and unframed.
Additionally, I will be designing new artworks with themes of southwestern Australia to be showcased and sold at the Rampage, and then added to the existing catalogue afterwards. These artworks will not be revealed until then but will be different to what I usually make 😉
