Rogue Cowgirls - Spring Sh*tbox Rally 2025

Well the cars are gone! Rogue cowgirls traded their car in to another team as they needed to travel back to Melbourne with their family and miles above sent their car to auction and raised another $1200! We both didn’t want to let our cars go but trying to get them back to Perth would cost more than what we paid for them so we made the heart breaking decision to leave them behind.

WE FU***NG DID IT!!

What seemed like a cruisy final day did not end that way with team miles above loosing a fuel pump which meant an hour round trip back to get a part, followed by a thunder storm while we waited BUT we crossed that line at bang on 7pm being the last buddy team to do so but f**k we were running high!

The s**tbox rally is something else…the people you meet..the bonds you forge..the memories you make..there ever lasting. We were not just individual cars in our buddy group we were a team and no matter what happened we kept on going!

A quick stop over to quench the thirst.

We made it to Burke! Few issues with two cars today with team tell em he’s dreaming having fuel issues in the morning and by the afternoon team another brick in the wall we’re back on the support car with break issues after we sorted the bearings last night 😂 however we rolled in this evening excited for some dinner and ready to knuckle down into getting the cars back on the road! Our only objective now is to get all our buddy team across the finish line with all our cars 💪🏼 I also looked at my mirror with the sunset and instantly smiled cause Dos Amigos- Sh*tbox Rally were right there cheering us on lol

Today has been a bloody day..first stop to prairie hotel which was absolutely class however when we hit the flinders rangers the roads took there toll…first up was miles above with the squealing sound which we think may have been a rock in the break callipers but got ourselves back on the road not long after it was team another brick in the wall with completely shot front inner bearings which require her to unfortunately be put onto a support car trailer and brang back to camp while the team tried to call repco and source new parts and a very kind lady from the store offered to take them home and bring them to us as we would be arriving late and then as we finally got off the unsealed roads one of the other teams noticed rogue cowgirls had a very shredded rear tyre so we quickly changed her before taking the final 2 hour drive. Needless to say cars will be in triage tonight getting work done on them.

Well today we’re bringing out our inner heifer for Halloween s**t box style 🐮 what’s more fitting then road kill 😂

What a ripper f**king day!! We successfully and safely completed the oodanatta track! Was an epic day with so many things to see but the highlight of the day was hitting Lake Eyre which is the lowest point of mainland Australia!! Quick stop at the Marree for a well deserved and celebratory drink.

Getting it done on day 3 and kicking off the rest of this oodanatta track! Get to tick off another stop on my bucket list today and I’m about as happy as pig in s**t

Well I can say one thing for sure the Oodnadatta track is no joke and we only did 200km of it with the rest coming tomorrow. We are like a good cocktail at this point perfectly shaken 😂 we had ourselves our first car trouble with the inevitable punctured tyre but with the help of team miles whose skills would rival a formula one pit crew we were back on the road in the matter of minutes!
