** Fun Fact **
Did you know the Managing Director of MPK tree Services was involved in The ENDEAVOUR build project in Fremantle? ....
In the early days Michael and his Dad were sought out by the Australian National Maritime Museum to supply specific timbers during the construction phases. Below is a brief description of their story.
The HM BARK ENDEAVOUR was a unique project ... the like of which will probably never happen again. It is a story of blind ignorance as to the task that was to be taken on, the unique team that somehow came together to complete the project, the amazing amount of sheer good luck we had on the way and the way that the ship has far out-performed our expectations on many different levels.
The Endeavour replica was assembled using traditional shipbuilding methods and materials where possible, although some changes were made to meet modern safety standards and enhance the longevity of the replica. The vessel's hull is built from jarrah, with Oregon pine also used above the waterline: although oak and elm were used in the original ship, the decision was made not to use these as they were more susceptible to rotting. Although some of the wood was fresh-cut by Michael and his dad, much of it was salvaged from demolished buildings and bridges or taken from trees felled during construction work or storms.
Most of the "20th century" equipment, including the diesel engines, a powered galley, and navigational equipment, is sited in what was the hold on the original Endeavour, keeping the upper decks in their 18th century condition.

How Much does it Cost?
Our animals are under attack. Fending disease, feral cats, surviving habitat loss and motor collision heightens their struggle for survival.
Their demise is often at our hands. How much does it cost us to put it right?
Did you know that:
$5 Feeds and orphaned quenda for a day
$20 Treats a magpie with throat worm
$40 Rehabilitates a bobtail with Flu
$70 Medicates a cat-attacked bird

Below is a video our Arborist 'Welly' took of one of our teams doing a Marri Removal.
29/03/2018
It was smiles all round at lunch time today for one of our clients. This Bifurcated 'Narrow Leaf Willow Peppermint' had what is called 'included bark' at the junction of the bifurcation where the tree forces the two trunks of itself apart and was recommended for removal so we dismantled it and turned it in to a nature play for the kids. I'm not sure who had more fun, Dean the Arborist carving out features or the kids playing on it. Thanks Dean. You did a fantastic job mate and thanks to the rest of the team for their awesome efforts also. Even tho the tree was removed, it still has a place in the school for many many more years to come.

It was all hands on deck this morning with this tricky removal. The tree suffered catastrophic limb failure due to previous poor pruning from another tree company so MPK were called in to completely remove it. Next week we will stump grind the stump then repave the area for our client. Our boys did a great job and we are proud to have such a great bunch of skilled professionals. Well done Dean, Justin, Bailey and Cooper
