Mount Hope Mining has announced strong cyanide leach results from the Mt Solitary Gold Prospect in NSW.

The Company completed a study comparing 234 paired cyanide leach and fire assay gold results from Phase 1 and Phase 2 RC drilling at Mt Solitary. The results returned an average cyanide leach gold solubility of 88%, with a strong correlation between the two assay methods.

Encouragingly, the result was consistent from surface through to fresh rock at 140m depth, indicating that the cyanide solubility is not limited to near-surface material.

These results are a positive preliminary indicator for Mt Solitary and will help inform the next stage of formal bottle roll and column leach metallurgical test work.

Mt Solitary is located approximately 2.5km from the township of Mt Hope and is well positioned in an established mining district with bitumen road access, nearby power infrastructure and proximity to regional processing infrastructure.

Mount Hope Mining is pleased to share outstanding Phase 2 drilling results from the Mt Solitary Gold Prospect.

Highlights from the program include:
• 6m @ 17.9g/t Au from 55m in hole 25MSRC013, including 2m @ 48.1g/t Au, with visible gold in RC chips
• 15m @ 3.9g/t Au from 102m in hole 26MSRC023
• 17m @ 3.2g/t Au from 47m in hole 26MSRC015

The Phase 2 program comprised 14 RC holes for 2,161m and has successfully expanded the Mt Solitary mineralised footprint to 180m x 220m, while also extending mineralisation along strike and down plunge.

These results continue to build confidence in Mt Solitary as a growing gold system within Mount Hope’s broader MS2 Gold Corridor, with Phase 3 planning already underway.

Mount Hope Mining (ASX: MHM) has expanded its strategic landholding in the southern Cobar Basin with the grant of two new exploration licences, EL9874 and EL9875.

The new licences add around 194km² of prospective ground, taking the Company’s broader regional footprint to approximately 606km². The tenure captures ground along key regional structures, and EL9875 is particularly encouraging given its location along strike from the Wagga Tank–Southern Nights mineralised trend.

Mount Hope will now progress a staged exploration program across both licences, including desktop review, mapping, sampling, geophysics and, subject to results, first-pass drilling.

Cobar copper play feeds investor appetite for consolidation in red metal sector - Resources Rising Stars 13/02/2026

We’ve been following the growing consolidation theme across the Cobar region, and this new article from Resources Rising Stars (12 Feb 2026) is a good snapshot of why investors are paying attention.

Using the Aeris/Peel transaction as a case study, the piece explains how regional assets can move from “stranded” to strategic when they align with existing treatment capacity, infrastructure and a pathway to scale.

For companies operating in proven mineral belts, this reinforces the importance of disciplined exploration and positioning projects for future development optionality.

Cobar copper play feeds investor appetite for consolidation in red metal sector - Resources Rising Stars Aeris’ takeover of Peel will result in a combined copper player with scale while creating a new zinc outfit with a life of its own.

High-grade visible gold rock chips from Mt Solitary

Mount Hope Mining has announced exciting new rock chip results from the Mt Solitary Gold Project, including 52.5g/t Au and 40.89g/t Au from samples containing visible gold.

The samples were collected ~110m northwest of the historical workings, providing further evidence that the mineralised structure continues beyond the known workings. The results also strengthen the emerging gold–bismuth association, which may help guide future discoveries across Mt Solitary and the broader MS2 Gold Corridor.

Next up, Mount Hope’s team will recommence ground geophysics with a CSAMT survey planned for late January, alongside ongoing mapping and sampling to refine drill targeting.
