This project has a very special place in our heart. The design evolved over countless cups of coffee (long black, no sugar) where stories and history were shared. That insight and close collaboration helped us bring to life the owner’s eclectic minimalist brief.

The selection of vintage pieces from and were the perfect additions to the home office.

Outside the built-in planters provide an ever changing outlook, an integration between the natural and built environment that echos the lines of the architecture.

Reimagining the outdoor kitchen with a design that’s sculptural and minimalist.

Design by featuring an architectural-white concrete bench, formed and poured on site.

1980’s Australian architecture is a bit of an ugly duckling. At least this one was. The decade was a time of record home building in Perth, with some interesting styles emerging from bland brick homes, to brash McMansions. Decades later, the stock is ripe for renovations.

Reimagining this family home in Mosman Park meant protecting elements that had remained timeless and beautiful, while disguising (many) others.

Draping 12m down a riverside block, the luxury home is an exercise in eclectic minimalism.

The client-led design captures magnificent river views across five levels, and is the culmination of a 50 year dream for the owner.
