Today we commemorate Anzac Day and pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women who served their countries in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
2026 marks 111 years since Australian and New Zealand soldiers served as part of the Gallipoli Campaign in World War 1.
As part of honouring the Anzac legacy, we acknowledge the soldiers from culturally and linguistically diverse communities who were an integral part of Australia’s World War I efforts as well as in conflicts since. Their stories live on as an important part of Australian history.
