When you’re a dancer AND the mother of a tween 🙊
Luckily she’s (mostly) my biggest fan & her friend group has dubbed me “Mrs Baddie” 😅
For the love of men, stop diminishing each others’ struggles 😑
And certainly don’t tell a friend who is struggling that antidepressants are a “scam”, right after asking if he’s on them. If you felt you had to ask, maybe you realised his wellbeing isn’t great…? And you *still* went on to say that?!
These are the men at the funerals of their work mates and old school friends who wonder “why didn’t they say something”.
That’s because our culture shuts it DOWN. Stoicism isn’t a flex. Rejecting modern medicine isn’t a flex. Save some lives & be a good fuggin’ friend.

Why yes, I did lift weights, repot my indoor plants, hang the artwork over my bed, and do my skincare in my fluffy red slippers… cos I hadn’t planned to do ANY of that when I first started folding the laundry….
