DAVE GROHL and ILAN RUBIN Swap Instruments During FOO FIGHTERS' Oslo Show

During Foo Fighters' concert in Oslo, Norway, on Wednesday (June 10), Dave Grohl and drummer Ilan Rubin traded places on stage for a special performance. Grohl stepped behind the drum kit while Rubin borrowed Grohl’s guitar for a performance of “Tap Dancing in a Minefield,” a song from Rubin’s side project The New Regime, giving fans a glimpse of the drummer’s impressive guitar skills.

The instrument swap reportedly took place during Grohl’s introduction of the band members, a segment in which each musician performed snippets connected to their musical past.

Among the other songs covered was “Invincible” by No Use for a Name, featuring guitarist Chris Shiflett – a former member of the punk band – on lead vocals.
