Loopium is a Perth based artist composing, performing and producing original music across a mixture of musical styles... Electronica, House, Deep House, Trip Hop, Neo Soul, Pop and journeying into fusion’s of these genres.
A professional standard drummer [starting at the age of 15] he began producing his own music learning keyboard by ear in his home studio in 2014 under the guise of ‘Stix’ and from there formed a duo with a female lyricist/vocalist as “Unity 1:1” ... The duo produced many original compositions in the studio however none were released commercially... Following this he continued to nurture his ever increasing passion and intuitive ability for creating music. Utilizing his passion as the fuel to spend countless hours in the studio, working on developing his musical abilities and ideas combined with a strong determination to ‘Learn by doing’ on the audio engineering and production side, new inspirations and directions brought “Loopium” into being in 2017... Loopium’s development as an artist with a unique style and approach is now gradually beginning to emerge... The evolution will continue...
Currently there are 9 single releases worldwide and over 60 songs in ‘The Vault” ... Whilst some may never see release, each will hold a special place on the journey here... New tunes are always in the mix at various stages of production and a goal of achieving the first album release by the end of 2019-early 2020 is in place... Hopefully the journey will continue on from there with exploring new musical directions from an ever changing perspective ...
