Day 4 was the trip home,
We left Mildura around lunch time ready for the 4.5 hour drive back to Adelaide to board our flight that evening. Landed back in Perth around 9pm and was the ending of our epic trip to Junior Nationals 2025.

Now all the dust has settled, we would like to take this time to thank everyone that has supported our Team, our fundraising, whether it be purchasing a lucky number, a shirt, jumper or hat, a small or large donation, even liking or sharing our posts EVERYTHING was noticed and we are so truely grateful.

A massive thank you to Glen Van Dongen for taking Both cars over to Mildura in his truck, keeping them safely in one piece and being the master planner for the WA juniors we really appreciate all the effort you did.

Thank you to the track staff, event organisers Sunset Strip Junior Nationals and event sponsors especially Nitro Golf Centre for a great weekend that was all about the Kids and letting them Race. It really was such a great experience for the kids and us Adults.

Sorry for the late post we have had a massive few days of dance comps!

Day 4 - Juniornationals Race

Day 4 saw the competition changed so that C/JD vs C/JD,
B/JD vs B/JD and A/JD vs A/JD.
Also running Pro Tree for the first time.

Gabriella once again had an average day of racing, not for lack of trying but her car finally running back to 8.00 zone threw us off for dialing in for first round. At the end of the afternoon gabby had a grudge run which ended up being the best run of her weekend with a 0.095 on a pro tree and a 8.04.

Skarlett took a bit of time to get used to the pro tree but walked away with a win in round 2 Chicago shootout. She did so well going round for round and then running grudge runs getting more seat time and more confidence in the car.

The last runs of the day saw the Parent race where the mums and dads got to jump in the cars, race heads up and have a go. Mum jumped at the opportunity being able to fit into Gabbys car perfectly, Winning her race with a 8.04. This was such a fantastic idea and something that we hope other tracks will look into doing, it was so much fun and a way for the parents to experience from a different point of view just how talented these kids really are.

A huge shoutout to our team WA members Belle for winning B/JD, Kade for getting runner up in B/JD and Nathan for winning A/JD. And Riley for runner up in Junior bike.

After all the formalities it was time to packup camp, the cars and celebrate the weekend that was.
