Meet Jeya, OFI’s HSE Manager!

With proven experience leading safety across large-scale companies and projects, Jeya approaches his HSE Manager role at OFI with one clear objective: everyone goes home safe at the end of the day. Always.

This includes ensuring compliance with both company and national standards, as well as the continuous improvement of current HSE systems.

To Jeya, success is when teammates trust one another and feel confident in their work. From office to site, operations run smoothly because safety underpins everyday actions.

When he’s not heading our safety department, he loves an outdoor adventure with family and friends.

Primero RCR Mining Technologies DIAB Engineering

We will be exhibiting at the Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference and Exhibition next week.

Our team can be found at booth 1A2, alongside fellow NRW Holdings businesses, Primero, RCR Mining Technologies and DIAB Engineering.

We are pleased to announce the award of several projects utilising our end-to-end electrical capabilities.

Project 1: electrical design, supply and installation of a tier 1 utilities operator’s site upgrade.

Leveraging our strong competency and in-depth site expertise, the scope involves the decommissioning of existing infrastructure and the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new MCC on site in the Goldfields region.

Project 2: containerised switchroom supply and manufacture for a critical infrastructure upgrade in the Wheatbelt.

As an improvement on the existing facility's site power supply, our team will deliver the HV upgrade, increasing the outload capacity.

OFI teammate spotlight: Cobey Mills, our Pre-Contracts Manager.

With a remit covering business development, estimating, marketing strategies and pre-award contract negotiations, Cobey has a knack for building driven, self-motivated yet highly collaborative teams. And as our key development person, he has a keen eye for market trends in our sectors too - crucial for maintaining and growing OFI’s work pipeline.

An electrical contracting professional for more than 25 years, Cobey started his career as an apprentice before working up to electrician, estimator, estimating manager, project manager, operations manager and, finally, pre-contracts manager.

When he’s not working, Cobey coaches his kids' AFL and basketball team and spends plenty of time adventuring outdoors.

To Cobey, OFI is: on a strong growth trajectory, future-focused and exciting in its continuous evolution.
