Happy New Year 🎊 (and a very late Merry Christmas 🤣)

Yes, we’re still here! Our motto since baby Lola arrived in September has very much been “surviving, not thriving” 🙈

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we juggle our business and our young family. The abundance of enquiries and referrals has been incredible and we’re so thankful — but we’ll be honest, keeping on top of it all has been a challenge at times (Mike once received 17 new phone call enquiries in a single day 😅).

We’re heading into 2026 with a complete family, very full hearts, and a verrrrrry long to-do list 🤣🤣

UPDATED LOGO… and updated family!

It’s been a busy couple of months for us adjusting to life as a family of 5, and of course, our last baby would be our trickiest 🤪

We’re finally settling into a slight routine, and getting a bit more sleep, just in time for the busy pre Christmas rush!

If you are waiting for a response from us, please don’t hesitate to prompt us again - we are doing are best but won’t mind the reminder!

Hi everyone,

For those who don’t know our business is run by Mike (your handyman) and wife Hayley (admin).

We have a 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter, and very recently welcomed our newest little one to the family.

Understandably this is busy time at home for us, and Mike is doing his best to get back to all the messages and enquiries while I take some time off with bub.

A very interesting job for a client - removed the plain glass from their existing front door, and installed a new lead light style piece they found second hand. Also painted the door in a feature blue 🌹💙

A leak repair resulted in replacement tiles being required. Due to the age of the rental property, there were no spares on site, so we procured the closet match we could find and installed.

📍Willeton

Removed and replaced rusted soak well drain grate, and relaid pavers

📍Attadale

Out with the old, in with the new 💫 fresh Colorbond gate for one of our regular clients ❤️

📍Hamilton Hill

✔️ Old lattice removed and new Colorbond installed, including lattice as requested by client 👌🏻

It’s been a humongous year for our Helpful Mike family, we are so thankful for all our wonderful clients and their support (and patience!) because we’ve learnt running a business with 2 toddlers is tricky stuff! 🤣
