Day 4 Milligan Mayhem
Matso wanted to watch Bluey this morning after his morning walk/sniff and 💩
Then off to the markets to look at stuff we don’t need, hubby was happy as they were cooking cheese kranskys 🌭
Of course Matso wanted to share a coffee with me and with a face like that it’s hard to say no.
Then off to the hardware store to choose a toy and to meet Dennis the new hardware store puppy 🐶.
Friends popped in to say hi and had a lovely walk/play along the beach before a quiet sun downer/snooze 💤🐶

Day 3 Miligan Mayhem, parkrun or shall I say park sweat! No breeze and humid!
Cold shower in the public toilets fixed the aftermath then off to the bottle shop for 9am open time. With these fuel prices I ain’t making 2 trips!
Back for breakie and 🐝’s before an explore along the coast.
Afternoon was spent watching husbo trying to fix the sliding door in the bathroom, not easy in a 17ft caravan. All fixed after entertaining other campers with comments like “is it in yet”, “you can’t fit it in that way” and “it just needs screwing”🙄
Finished off the day with a stroll through the campsite commenting on everyone’s else’s set up before dinner and a binge watch.

Milligan Mayhem
Day 2, well technically day 1 as we were supposed to come up Thursday but due to lack of planning on Husbos work which doesn’t constitute an emergency on mine meant it was too late to leave……much commiseration 🍷 was drunk.
Rocked up to our spot about 10 after stopping for the obligatory chicken/cheese snag. Greeted by lots of 🐝, hubby was very brave and we had no running around with arms flaying about.
Headed to the beach with the new pupper Matso to spend some time increasing his water skills. He nailed it!
Back to camp for a 💤 then a nice walk before TV and bed.

After a slow start to 2026 and a few cancelled trips we’re finally dusting off Ted Stryker and it’s shaping up to be a cracking Easter looking at the weather.
We’re hoping we have enough ⛽️ to get us there and back 🤣

Day 3/4/5 Lancelin Working Holibobs
The OH had to leave Monday morning to go back to work (shame), that left me and the dog to our own devices.
The photos pretty much sum up the last 3 days which also included online working, bush walks, beach walks, coffees, gin, reading and watching serial killer doccos. Couldn’t have asked for a better working holiday!
It’s been super windy so sitting outside hasn’t been much of an option so the dog and I have been making good use of our comfy bed. 🛌

Day 1/2 Lancelin working holiday
After the craziness of the festivities we headed to Lancelin on Saturday the park was busy but nailed the reversing without any assistance from random men holding beers.
Set up and headed to the beach for a sundowner with the pupper.
Sunday we spent at the beach, the weather and the water were pretty much perfect. Bit windy but that keeps the flies off. Had a fun time trying to get the car awning up but we did it.
After getting sand just about everywhere we headed back to the caravan just in time to get our awning in as the afternoon sea breeze/gale kicked in.
Sunday session at Endeavour Tavern with great pizza! 🍕 definitely “pub singing”
Back home the “footie” was on so a few gins and I shut my eyes.

Day 2/3 Boguilton
Friday started with a hike followed by a relaxing book reading session which resulted in a bit of sunburn 🙄
The rest of the group rolled in during the arvo and it was off to the country club for dinner and the meat raffle.
Saturday was the main event, kayaking, swimming, blowing up random inflatable animals, secret Santa and of course…..Uno!
We are all still friends…….

Day 1 Boguilton (long story)
It’s the annual extended family (friends) Christmas get together.
I arrived solo and got set up, the caravan park was practically empty so no one to judge my reversing.
Settled in with a good book and a gin then grabbed my bagnum and went to my friends place for a curry.
Decided to walk home, bit dark but Apple Maps lit the way!
Just a tad windy overnight so ear plugs in and eye mask on!

Sandy Scape
The wind finally calmed enough for us to have a beautiful sundowner on top of the dunes.
It’s been over 24 hours and I still haven’t seen my dog 💩, thankfully it was an uneventful night other that hubby getting cramp.
Still no 💩 this morning so a quick swim and walk along the beach before packing up and heading home.
Quick stop at the bakery in Jurien, hubby held the dogs outside which he was pretty happy about as plenty of young ladies wanted to pat the dogs 🙄
Still no 💩 so headed home hoping for the best. Made it 🤣

Quick Sandy scape!
Arrived just before wine o’clock yesterday, got set up. You would think this time of year we would be complaining that it’s too hot…….nope by the end of the evening the heated blankets were put to good use.
Started the day with a parkrun then a trip to Milligan Island. Tried to snorkel but tide was too low. Popped into Jurien for the festival but no puppers allowed so settled for a bitch diesel at Jurien Bay Cafe.
Back to base to take the awning down due to the wind and a nanna 💤

Coogee capers
Quick trip to Coogee for the weekend, was due to go watch the Stereophonics at Freo Prison but they went and cancelled!
Instead we decided to do some bar hopping sampling some of Freos finest margaritas 🍸
Sunday we went to the Omeo Wreck for a snorkel, unfortunately it was a tad murky due to the rain over the weekend but will definitely be back when the weather perks up.
Managed to sneak in a Banh Mi from Bibra Lake Lunch bar yum!

Day 2/3 Dongara Rocks
Woke up fresh as a 🌼, breakie at the cafe to check out the friends mosh pit injuries. Said goodbye to them before the OH turned in for a post breakie nap.
So, I decided to explore and found the river walk which took me to the mouth of the Irwin River and then back into Dongara where I met up with a friend of a friend and her 4 puppers (cuddles galore!).
After several ours AWOL the OH called to find me. Thankfully I’m too heavy to kidnap, he won’t even answer the ransom call.
Headed back for more relaxing and a sun downer 🍷 the Ugg boots and flannos were out in force!
Dinner, TV……bed ☑️
The next morning we met up with new random friends at their amazing 250 acre property and walked the ponies to the beach. More pupper cuddles were had. Then it was time to do the dump point and head home.
On the way home the OH complained about his finger which has had a “wart” thing on it for months. Suddenly he was in agony……..well that’s what he told me 20 billion times. So got home and sent him to urgent care whilst I ate caravan leftovers and wine 🍷
He’s not back yet 😆⛑️🩹🤕
