We're excited to be joining the Mullewa community for SOCK Week on 23 June!
SOCK Week (Save Our Country Kids) is a regional road safety initiative helping communities tackle road trauma through education, awareness and prevention.
The event is designed to address the unique risks faced on regional roads and to help prevent future road trauma.
We'll be delivering three programs designed to help young people make safer choices on and around roads:
🧠 Not Okay (Years 4–6) -
🚲 Wheely Safe Adventure (Years K–3)
🚗 Hit the Road (Years 6–12)
This event was created in response to the tragic loss of five young lives in Narembeen road crashes in 2016.
We're looking forward to being part of this important event and connecting with local students, families and community members.

Thank you to St Michael’s School, Bassendean for sharing this valuable feedback from their excursion to our Safety School! 🩵🚲

Young people face unique risks on our roads. 🛻🚲🚦
In Western Australia, people aged 17–29 are overrepresented in those killed or seriously injured on our roads compared to other age groups.
That's why programs like Hit the Road are so essential. This FREE interactive theatre workshop for 17-24-year-olds explores the consequences of risky driving behaviours such as speeding, distracted driving, hooning and drug or drink driving in cars as well as e-scooters.
Hit the Road is available to metropolitan high schools and youth groups and can be performed to up to 100 attendees.

There's nothing more rewarding than hearing directly from schools about the impact of our programs.
Through interactive performances and facilitated discussions, Youth Choices helps young people explore a range of relevant issues, such as risk-taking, peer pressure and decision-making in a way that is fun, relatable and relevant.
Thank you to Belmont Christian College for this wonderful feedback recently. 💙

🚲 Today is World Bicycle Day!
So far this year, nearly 3,500 WA children have participated in our bike and road safety education sessions at the Constable Care Safety School!
Today we're celebrating the power of bike education to help children build confidence, stay active and develop the skills they need to ride safely.
Whether they're riding to school, exploring their neighbourhood or enjoying a weekend adventure, every child deserves to learn how to keep safe on their wheels.
