As an official Strongman Corporation Arnold Strongman PRO/AM qualifier for the Lightweight, Middleweight and Masters World Championships, athletes from across Australia and around the globe will make their way to Western Australia.
This is more than a competition.
This is WA’s opportunity to step onto the world stage.
As we celebrate 20 years of WA Strongman, this event represents everything the sport in this state has been building towards.

WA Strongman wasn’t built by one athlete.
It wasn’t built by one competition.
It certainly wasn’t built by one organiser.
It was built by thousands of people showing up.
For almost 20 years, athletes, volunteers, referees, spectators, families, sponsors and supporters have helped build the community we have today.
Every athlete who stepped onto the competition floor.
Every volunteer who gave up their weekend.
Every friend who came along to cheer.
Every family member who supported the journey.
You helped build WA Strongman.
The athletes may stand in the arena, but the community is what keeps this sport alive.
As we continue building towards the future, we want to thank everyone who has played a part in the story so far.
The pioneers.
The champions.
The volunteers.
The supporters.
The next generation.
This sport belongs to all of us.
And we’re only getting started. 🏆💪

Across WA, athletes are getting deep into their prep…the heavy carries, the hard reps, the nervous excitement, and the final push toward something special.
Chasing Champions Open is more than just another comp.
It’s a celebration of the people who build this sport, the athletes, coaches, volunteers, spectators, supporters, and the strongman community that keeps showing up for one another.
We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped bring this event to life, and we can’t wait to see everyone perform at their best at ChasingBetter247 Malaga. 💪

On October 10 & 11, The Strength Challenge takes over Varsity Bar Morley for a weekend of max deadlifts, max log presses, atlas stones, huge lifts, great vibes, and one of the best crowds in WA strength sport.
