The evolution of Nembe.
As I start thinking about how I want to restructure my jewellery business this year, it's interesting to see the beginnings of my work till now!
I started creating 'Filigrana' in 2018 and have been refining my style and techniques ever since.
And this year I want to refine it even more!
I've really tried focusing hard on finishes as this type of wire work can be finicky, and need to make sure there are no bits that can snag.
I've decided to create ONLY necklaces and will continue to create one-off statement pieces.
I'm leaning towards a nice contrast of curves and gently geometric forms, as this is what I seem to be naturally drawn to.
I'm looking forward to what this year will bring for Nembe!
