About a year ago today—
I was standing on top of Mount Batur.
2 a.m. start.
No sleep.
Just a torch in the dark and a seemingly endless trail.
We hiked through the night with a group of strangers.
All of us chasing the same thing:
That moment the sun cracks the horizon.
When we reached the summit, the sky lit up.
Monkeys climbed out from the rocks.
And I just stood there—
Looking out over the valley…
Villages below.
Stillness in the air. Caffeine flowing through my veins.
A wave of excitement came over me.
That whole trip changed everything.
In Perth I was working hard.
Weddings.
Gigs.
Work.
Then Europe.
Then New Opportunities.
2025 turned out to be the best year of my life.
Not because it was perfect.
But because it was full.
Full of beauty.
Full of challenge.
Full of new friends, new places, new chances.
And the truth is—
None of it happened by accident.
It came from being intentional.
From saying yes.
From backing myself.
From surrounding myself with good people…
2026 won’t look the same.
But the bar is set.
And I’m hungry.
Let this be your sign—
To live louder.
To love harder.
To show up for yourself and your future.
Because when you lead with courage and kindness,
Life has a way of showing you what’s possible.

January 5th, 2019.
This is where it started.
My first ever wedding MC gig… for my sister Kristen and my brother-in-law Aaron. At the time I almost pulled out and didn’t think I could handle it - which is very ironic now 😅
What gets me is this…
Back then I was okay. I did a solid job. Guests gave me great feedback things.
But that one YES… that one moment of doing the scary thing anyway… ended up becoming a key part of my world for the past 5 years.
Fast forward and I’ve now MC’d hundreds of weddings and events. And it’s wild to say this out loud but… now it feels like I could do it in my sleep. Not because it’s easy. Because I finally became the version of me that doesn’t flinch when opportunity knocks and I just have to jump two feet in.
So here’s the reminder I needed today — maybe you do too:
Sometimes the thing you’re nervous to try…
is the thing that ends up changing your life.
Jump before you’re ready. Say yes while your hands are shaking and your stomach is in knots. You don’t need confidence first. You just need a decision.
