I'm running some public workshops for teens and young adults! Hosted at the Ellenbrook Youth Centre, open to all! 🥳

In these workshops i will provide an introduction to Voiceover and Digital Illustration from my own experience and skillsets, then gradually tailor the sessions to suit the preferences of the attendees 😁 What path would YOU like to take in these exciting industries??

🎙️ Speak Up! Voiceover Course for Young Creators.

Voiceover is a lot more than grabbing a mic and putting on some silly accents. During these workshops I'll go through a range of adjacent skills to practice, including physical elements that affect the quality and longevity of your voice acting abilities, and the subtle technical sides of sound dampening a studio space without exploding your budget. We'll practice narration, voicing lines for games/animation, and make practice podcast episodes. Sure to be an exciting adventure for all!

🖌 The Stylus is Mightiest! Introduction to digital illustration for teens and young adults.

Who doesn't love to doodle some quirky characters, or colour in serene scenes? What if you could skip the eraser, or save on screwing up the whole page due to some slipped texta lines... with a simple Ctrl Z??!! Welcome to the world of digital art, where multiple pages can be combined or separated at will (with Layers) and mistakes are always temporary (Ctrl Z)! Discover the basics of digital art using free software and tablets/stylus provided by the venue. Come with flowing ideas of comics you want to make, or with no idea at all. Time to get crafty on a glowing screen!

These workshops are supported by the Ellenbrook Arts association. Check out their website for more community events and opportunities to get involved in or support creative initiatives.

Bee the Buzz will be heading to the printers this month, with a view to get it in Backers' hands by July, mid to late. After which, there may be limited copies going up for sale on my store page, and .

Ruinous may be a bit longer. I've been delving through further playtesting for this, really trying to get it to a point where I'm happy with the gameplay and all the little quirks. It's been a long process, but I'll keep everyone updated as things progress!

Thanks so much to everyone who has supported both campaigns!! Both have been successful in their funding goals! 🥳 This certainly has been a hectic month... but I'm excited to get into full production of these games! Also a huge thanks to Ahmad from for tag-teaming on Bee the Buzz! And a thanks to all the other MicroMay participants! I'll definitely be back next year with another game! Maybe it will be time to dust off the old Bounty Burglars game...
