We resurrected this classic old Aussie tube amp (this is the before photo). SO SATISFYING TO BRING THEM BACK TO LIFE!

This classic Aussie made stereo 2 x 50W tube head came in the door...
In great condition for its age, only problem found was output tubes on channel B tested weak.
Replaced them and found now both channels measure 50W rms into a dummy load with a sine wave signal, so still ' on spec ' after 40 years.
Very impressed with the layout and accessibility for service.
Makes some of today's products look like rubbish.

This tasty little sucker came through the door recently. Very clean , just needed the sockets cleaned and a new 12AX7 tube. And.... it was a genuine made in USA 115 volt model. Someone had plugged it into a little autotransformer, that worked, but the amp buzzed . Adding a real power cable and conecting the chassis to ground : no more buzz.
Another happy customer!
