Exciting times at Fibrenet as we announce our partnership with SKS Group Australia on their up and coming project Fives in Cockburn. This mixed-use development will combine 109 build to rent apartments with 170 hotel rooms and retail spaces.

The business development and project teams on both sides worked together to develop a tailored telecommunications solution for the diverse make up of this development, which achieved the requirements of both build to rent and hotel accommodation types.

Fibrenet, part of the Interphone group, will provide high-speed 10Gpbs internet to the apartment, via it's fully converged FibreX network, incorporating a range of other telecomms services such as IP TV, hotel WIFI, security and phone, through one fibre backbone.

This opportunity highlights the flexibility of a FibreX network's service capabilities and the ability our team has to provide a purpose-designed solution no matter what the project needs and complexity might be.

Last week we held our first Information Session at the new Grove development by Blackburne, recently PC'd. It was a great turn out with 90 people in attendance.

To us, these sessions are a really important value add service we provide to our clients and the residents of the apartments. With technology, education has such an impact on the results and satisfaction a user gets out of it.

We provide an interactive demonstration session, including inviting residents to bring their devices so we can help them install and learn how to use supporting apps.

We cover things such as:

ℹ How to set up and configure apartment modems
ℹ Any wifi/bluetooth connect technology for internet use around building amenities
ℹ How to use the building and in apartment intercom systems, including any relevant apps
ℹ Use of access control points and devices, and ensuring building security
ℹ Provide FAQ documentation, and the details for our various support channels
ℹ Answer any questions the residents have around the tech

It's also a great opportunity for new residents to meet each other, and meet our support team that will be on hand if ever needed.

FIBRENET have successfully delivered their fully converged fibre optics network yet another beautifully designed and executed Blackburne project, The Grove in Claremont.

Connecting 228 apartments to a network of internet, phone, TV and security solutions, the project saw us deliver:

◾20 Wireless Access Points
◾142 Access Units/IP Style
◾1 Intercom answering unit
◾1 Concierge Phone
◾240 IP connected end-point devices in total

An impressive 4 towers, the development includes 2 residential buildings of 12 and 16 storeys, comprising of contemporary apartments, multi-million dollar penthouses and a rooftop bar. The adjoining 2 buildings provide residents with luxury amenity such as a golf simulator, sauna, poolside private dining and residents' garden, as well as presenting commercial tenancy opportunities.

Well done to the teams on both sides, and all the other contractors we interacted with, it was a pleasure as always.
